Cooking and baking. I made vegan pâté.

Made a big fabric box for my winter stuff. Quick sewing.

Dinner with Jonny. Plus cakes and Bake Off The Professionals. I gasped too much.

A day by myself. Reading loads of my big heavy book on the sofa.

Finishing my silver top for the wedding.

Cooking three new recipes.

Yoga. Plant pruning. Sunny walk.

Getting to work from home for most of the day i.e. not really working but masturbating.

Making biscuits. And pear puree.

Dressed. The most incredible play. I sobbed afterwards but it was amazing.

New plants on my windowsill

The surprisingly delicious aubergine brownie

Starting. Starting the building blocks for Freddie, starting the idea of selling the embroidered vulvas and starting the planning for my next vulva party.

The levels of clouds in the afternoon

A dark chocolate milk

Baking biscuits

Baked some cakes! To apologise to Stuart for ruining his birthday yesterday. 😬

Teaching Jo how to embroider.

Watching Stuart play Assassin’s Creed after he helped me go through the job description.

A sunny autumn walk around the park. With the leaves and the blue sky and no headphones on.
Baking ginger biscuits. Eating a lot of the dough before any baking actually happened.

Lino printing some gold joy cards.

Also family whatsapp lolz with vegetable faces.

Spent seven hours watching Grace and Frankie in the living room with Matt. And then the other housemates.

Had a roast cooked for me for dinner.

And got warm, freshly baked banana bread afterwards. Good Sunday.

Going to the V&A with Jonny and looking at all the amazing ceramics. And seeing the new entrance. So beautiful and peaceful. Well done London.

Baking some cookies. It was nice to bake. It always reminds me of mum. Plus they were delicious.

Watching TV all evening with Jonny. Especially the final Educating Yorkshire with Musharaf overcoming his stammer. I cried.

Leaving work when it’s so late for a second day in a row.

And I have tomorrow off! First day in 11 days. I can’t wait!

Home baked gooey biscuits, just out the oven.

My strangely patterned avocados.

A quiet haircut, whilst it rained outside.

Discovering Bridget Jones’s Diary in the house. I’ve been wanting to watch this for weeks! Enjoyed with two slices of warm banana bread, smothered in Malteaser spread. Happy Sunday!

Sunday baking.

Organising my birthday. Maybe I do like birthdays afterall.

The cricket and the glass frog on Planet Earth II

Embroidery with Sarah. Did a vagina. Obvs.

Baked biscuits (rock cakes) and jam tarts.

Did some morning yoga

Going to the Tate. Watching the construction guys descend from the roof. The beautiful new galleries. Stepping into the cubes. Being alone in the room with the lights. Writing with a coffee. The views from the top floor. The wonky sculptures. The bubbling tubes. Lying in the cage. The beautiful concrete staircases.

Drawing birds and listening to guilty feminists.

Jonny, beers in the pub, a brilliant tart, jam tarts that burnt our mouths, cigarettes, GBBO in bed and gay chat. A brilliant Wednesday night.

Getting a Thank You letter and a tea bag from the Alzheimer’s Society for helping raising £109,000 by doing the Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge.

Baking some gold glittery cakes for Ming’s Gold Party. Not quite as gold as I wanted but it was nice to bake again.

Chatting to my friend’s at the party. I haven’t spoken to Al properly in a long time, Harry was really interesting and it’s always so nice to see Sam DJ so intently.

An accidental loud fart. And then another one.

GBBO at Godfrey. Come on Val, pull it together!

James. Offering me money. So lovely.

All FOUR of the homemade cakes for Clare’s birthday.
A beer and a haircut.
Feeling quite proud of myself. For sharing. And doing better.

Homemade apple crumble.
Whizzing through the market super fast.
Getting lots of van stuff done. We’re getting there!

Homemade digestive biscuits. #britsabroad
A new, awful TV show thanks to Scott Mills called Bad Bridesmaid.
Singing loudly on my own in the car. I’ve really missed that.

image

Homemade apple compot with some cream.
Making flat bread from scratch for dinner alongside my lentil and spinach soup. A whole day of baking and cooking. I made a honey and almond cake too.
His face in the morning. He looked young and sleepy and it reminded me of when we first got together.

I made a pretty impressive book cake for my flatmate.
I woke myself up by laughing this morning.
Walking down to the market together, being silly and singing songs.

Licking out the bowl for the chocolate cake mixture at work.
Being told my haircut really suits me. Which is nice because you always feel a bit self conscious after you chop it all off.
My colleague saying I’m an oasis of calm and react well in stressful situations. Which made me laugh because that’s not how anyone back home would describe me. The meditation must be working!

scones afternoon tea

Having my boyfriend at home with me today (and distracting me from work)

The scones he made for lunch time desert (what, that’s a thing)

The evening. Every bit of it. The dinner, the drinks, the conversation, the soundtrack. Everything. Just perfect. I love him.
