Chatting with a happy Jonny, as I did his ironing.

Lots of vulva business admin. New email, updated shop, new designs. The works.

Sneakers ice cream.

Dinner with Jonny, discussing Issues. And work things. We never eat dinner at the same time.

Grand Designs. A giant treehouse. So beautiful. And I love our evenings in together.

Flurries of emails at the end of the day. The exciting bit of a project when everything feels possible!

Going to lie in the park after work, reading in the sun.

An evening of watching Jonny play Assassin’s Creed and messing about on Instagram, singing stupid things to each other.

Lovely leaves.

First haircut without the mole. So much less stressful.

Jonny’s home! And he likes his spicy cheese.

Cheering on Jonny at the Hackney Half. So glad I saw him.

A fun date with James. Lots of laughing.

Walking home with a beautiful sky and good music.

My little cousin got my best friend’s book for Christmas. And I told everyone that he wrote it. And then she read some to me.

Getting home. Hello flat. Hello London. Hello peace and quiet.

Texting Alex.

I can use the funding for Vagina stuff! Hurrah!

The Winter Crafts Wellbeing Hour. Lots of people came along and they really liked it!

An evening with Jonny. Eating dinner together. Watching shit TV. Eating too much.

These words about me, from a best friend.

Wearing my skinny jeans and boots and listening to music and waking with confidence, feeling like a fabulous woman.

Dusting my room and feeling homely and tidy again.

Basically a whole day with Jonny and it was lovely:

Shopping together.

Changing his pennies into pounds at Metro Bank.

A pub night, trying a new pub and then going to an actual nice pub.

Delicious carrot cake from Libby’s mum. Two slices.

Andrew: Well done to Libby for finding the pen after Adam lost it.

Sitting on a bench in the sun at the top of the park, reading.

And Han is here! I forgot how fun I feel with her.

Playing with Mrs Edwards

Getting home

Food shopping with Jonny

Getting an appointment so quickly. It feels a bit like it was meant to be.

Lying on my bed after work reading, with the sun shining through the tree and onto my bed.

Just having Jonny around. Listening, making me laugh, talking. I’m glad he’s here.

Japan flights are booked!

A couple of posters for the competition. Thank god.

New pub with Jonny. I’m glad we go out still. And play dominoes

My period started

Jonny’s response to my period starting

Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Walking around in the sun, changing pollution tubes. And walking past our new road, the vaginal canal.

Talking to Adam about NYC. He looked so excited and he’s not even going.

Going to the pub with Jonny after work. “I get a boner every time I think about those shelves.”

Putting a deposit down on a flat. A nice flat!

An evening with Jonny, planning the new house.

Stuart telling me he misses me.

I’ve been invited to pitch for a £5k grant!

Writing up BOW stuff and calming myself down after a frenzied afternoon.

Half a pub quiz with Jonny in the quiet pub.

Being out and about rather than in the office. Especially when it stopped raining.

New insoles. It’s like walking on jelly! It’s so comfy.

Petek with Jonny. Free dessert again. They love us. And new flat chat.

Finally going into the fabric shop. It’s got some utterly beautiful material in. Can’t believe I haven’t been before.

Discovering a beautiful flat that we can afford. And we’re visiting it tomorrow!

Drinks with Jonny. Planning our new lives in the flat!

Working on BOW. Getting the manifesto done and feeling happy with doing something and shaking off the low mood. It’s nice to get compliments about your writing too.

A night with Jonny, eating at Rasa and talking about moving in together. Plus he gave me my birthday present. Hello perfect Muji mugs! 😍

Stuart phoning me during Matilda by Alt-j live in Madrid.

The quiet pub, where the barman recognises me. I think.

Accidental Rowan’s for New Year’s Eve. Complete with a Mario Kart, basketball, dancing, air hockey and pool.

Going for cheesy food and then deciding to go back into another pub for a gin. And a chat with a Spanish man that couldn’t speak English.

A wonderful letter and bad ass card from Han to cheer me up, telling me all the amazing things I’ve done and why she loves me. Plus some great photos of the fun times! She’s so lovely.

Finishing mum’s embroidered Christmas present. Now they both have a top with their boat logo on!

A night out for Stuart’s birthday. We went to Shep’s, ate delicious food, chatted to James, got free cocktails and shots and a discount too! Then some extremely drunk but very good sex when we eventually got home. From what I can remember anyway

Sticking it out and meeting Kieran to hear about the waste management work. Not what I want, but interesting. And a good chance to feel like I’m good at something.

Lino printing vagina Christmas cards.

A classic date night with Jonny. Too much alcohol, some penis chat and Peteks. Perfect.

My amazing charity shop haul. I got some great clothes for hardly any money at all! New trousers for £2 and a lovely man’s woollen jumper for £2 too. Yes please.

An evening with my boo, Jonny. I haven’t seen him for ages. So we went to Petek. Obvs.

Jen gossip and a Britney-esque photo. What a plum.

Getting an apology and getting my TOIL.

Beers and pizza with Jonny.

An evening slightly drunk shower. Warm soft feet and sweet smelling skin in bed afterwards.

Started talking at work again. Called James a flirt. Tried not to laugh at the word tits during the lunch break bird chat.

Immediate drinking with Jonny after work. What a fucking ridiculous day.

ICCO pizza. Oh how I love you.

Such a good nap. I didn’t even move. Fresh air, smooth sheets, deep sleep.

Books, beer and Korean with Jonny in the evening. It was such a lovely evening.

The setting sun, shining off the buildings and turning gold as I arrived home.

Jonny opening his present. He was genuinely so happy.

Jonny’s birthday, generally. But specifically:

Winning air hockey at Rowan’s.

Playing ping pong. With my secret smug look that was not so secret.

Ring of Fire until half 4. With card tricks.

Texts from Jonny. Being his drag mum. Wanting to be his soul sister.

Breaking the surface at work in the afternoon and smiling and joking. It felt such a relief to feel almost normal again.

Meeting Jo after work for a hug and a fresh mint tea. It was nice to be out of my head and thinking about someone else for a while.

New series of Master of None.

Lauren making me laugh and making me feel less of a moany twat.

Five minutes of texting Jonny. Five minutes of feeling loved and liked and funny. He’s my rock and my happy place. Some days I need him more than others. Today was one of those days.
