The little yellow bird that visited the tree outside the window as I had breakfast.

The way the light fell across the plants.

A slow, headphone-free wander along the New River Walk at lunchtime. Tiny moorhens, blossom and sunshine.

The bird that has started singing when I meditate in the morning.

Giggley day at work. Andrew sneaking up on me, Adam’s coffee achievement chat.

Third date with Diarmuid. Listening to old French songs at the beautiful Wilton’s Music Hall. Followed by cuddles.

The bird on the tree outside the front window

More Nicki Minaj. Making me strut and feel better.

A handstand at yoga.

Watching the sunbathing blackbird at lunchtime. And discovering that that is what she was doing.

Good Eggs stupid photos. Mainly of Alec. Really made me laugh.

Finishing the day with a phone call from Eric, who wants to help me get more street art in the borough. I like it when people want to help you.

Watching volleyball in the park with a seagull.

Chats with Sarah on the train home.

Basil in my salad.

A lunch time walk with the WEN women. That was a really nice connection.

Walking down a beautiful new street. Saw a huge wooden bird in a window.

New No Such Thing As A Fish podcasts on the bus. Really made me laugh.

Driving the biggest van for the smallest amount of stuff. With Jonny, obvs.

The robin came back into the garden. It’s so brave. And she ate the worms Lauren gave her.

A really infectious giggly laugh that caught me of guard and cheered me right up.
A bird flying right at me and then stopping and hovering in mid-air right in front of me. Only for a second. But a long second.
Saying goodbye to a favourite customer and hearing her say lovely things about me. Plus a hug.

The sky this morning
Walking out of work at the exact same time my boyfriend was walking past.
Listening to the birds on the way home. One sounded like a wooden xylophone.

Mid-winter Christmas day at work. Roast Turkey dinner, Santa hats and (fake) presents in the stockings. Saying ‘Merry Christmas!’ to everyone was fun. The festive cheer was there, even if the date was a little wrong.
An evening of Sex and the City.
The little bird that kept flying back into work to hang out with us. He snuck in four times!

Making a noise just like wood pigeon through my nose whilst eating breakfast. There are lots of wood pigeons at my parents house and it reminded me of home. In a nose kind of way.
The beautiful blue sky.
The beautiful full moon.

20130404-224407.jpgThe very smiley bearded man who walked last the shop and smiled. Widely. Sadly not the man above.

The bird in the bin area that looked annoyed at my interruption

Just talking about my day with my boyfriend. Making him laugh and telling him stories

A postcard from my nan

A relaxed morning that included shaving, hair washing and moisturising. And breakfast not eaten at my desk. Bliss.

Breathing in through my nose and finding it made a whistling noise like a bird.

Perhaps there’s a bird hidden up there….
