Going for a walk with Jonny. Talking about Drag Race and Portugal and silly things. Noticing that the trees have grown leaves within days.

Ordering a sewing machine. And paying for it to arrive tomorrow.

Watching the video with me in, walk about people talking vulvas on Instagram.

Sunshine! Such blue skies.

The child trolleys in Takayama.

Kyoto. Oh my god. I’m in love. This city is beautiful.

The outrageously beautiful garden outside the restaurant.

The shops filled with gorgeous clothes.

The crunchy chocolate things.

The charcoal incense.

I love this city. I’d like to stay.

Blue skies! So blue.

Our walk through the valley. Along the river, through the ancient forests and via a beautiful beautiful pond that I think might just be one of my favourite places in the whole world. It was so peaceful and perfect.

So grateful for the weather being perfect today.

First onsen. Definitely needed after a 5 hour walk.

Ice creams and boiled egg snacks.

Laughing at Han tripping up.

Going out in the glorious sun to measure pollution levels in adventure playgrounds. Which obviously included going on a zipwire and climbing up some huge wooden climbing frames.

More park sunbathing at lunchtime. Will this ever not make me happy?

Sacking off my evening plans and coming home to wash and wax and sit in my PJs on my own. Total bliss. Plus a background of Liam Gallagher live.

A beautifully sunny day, spent in a pretty garden with my family, chatting to my cousins.

Lying on the grass, my heart beating into the ground and the sun beating down on my face.

Stroking a calm dog and she snuggled back into me.

A beautiful walk in the stunning Cornish countryside under the bluest sky.
A cream tea at the end of it. A savoury one and a regular one. God I love clotted cream.

A night in with the flatmates. Wine, Akon, pizza and pasta plus sparklers.
An hours walk in the sun in the middle of the day.
A few moments out in the office garden, away from the screens and amongst the plants.

Lying in the park in the sun. Maybe summer isn’t completely over.
The chocolate mousse at lunch time. Best mousse I’ve ever eaten.
Being carried down the stairs upside down and back to front.

Miss Fanny and Mrs Brown.
A bit of a suntan.
A foot massage.

This image. It’s called something like Diving into the Unknown. I really like it. It’s a little how I feel about life at the moment.
The view from the train window. Sunny blue skies all the way up shining down into the green green grasses of Great Britain.
Meeting nephew number two.

Sitting outside at lunch time to enjoy the gorgeous blue sky.
My first sewing knits class. It’s nice to learn new things again. And muttering ‘shit shit shit’ next to a woman also muttering ‘shit shit shit’.
Telling everyone what an absolute twat I am because I was too embarrassed (and British) to correct my sewing teacher when she thought I was someone else and called me by a. different name she even asked me directly ‘and how are you doing Lisa?’ And I answered! What an idiot. How am I ever going to correct her?! Oh well, at least it’s funny!

Having a shower with the sun shining through the window. It’s nice to have a shower in the daylight but it also reminded me of showering at home in the summer, knowing I had a whole day of being outside in the garden or the countryside ahead of me, with my parents near by and everything being safe and normal.
The weather was beautiful today. The market was full with people buying bags of fresh, colorful good and afterwards I sat on the dock, thinking and meditating a bit and for the first time thinking to myself that maybe I could stay here longer. It’s a beautiful city. And the winters are just so sunny.
The sunlight glittering off the sea. It looked like an elaborate light show just for me.

The public toilet that played music.
The beautiful weather all day that let my parents see the amazing landscape. Accidentally timing the trip up Mt Victoria perfectly and watching the most incredible sunset that just kept getting better and better. The perfect end to a fantastic day.
