Getting excited about the book with Liv.

Telling her the fox story and seeing her laugh.

Going for a little walk at lunchtime and spotting the squirrel on the tree, looking at me. (Not this squirrel but this is also very joyful).

Chairing the team meeting.

Thinking I can maybe move BOW on to the thing I wanted it to be.

Realising I’d already washed my face and didn’t need to do it just before bed. I hate washing my face when I’m tired.

This email from a friend/colleague. What a lovely thing to read.

Talking about Body of Women and feminism with Pete. He’s a sweet guy.

Reminiscing about Mike with Lauren and Bivan as she cleaned out the gross fridge.

We took BOW to WOW. And it was amazing.

One woman told us it was the reason she bought a ticket for WOW.

Meeting Mary.

Getting it all done ready for WOW tomorrow. And having a little dance. And feeling like I’ve really properly smiled for the first time in a few days.

Putting up an image of me on Instagram from BOW. It felt scary but exciting. It’s happening now. Happy International Women’s Day.

My new plate. Whoops.

A walking meeting, circling the park in the sun.

Walking home as the sun was setting across the park, watching birds up in the sky.

I bought the flowers. It’s done. It’s over.

I’ve been invited to do a podcast.

A day of doing no actual work but lots of WOW thinking. I can’t believe it’s next weekend.

Lots of tea chat at work. I now know how many litres of water my office goes through a year (12,000), how many cups of tea that is (80,000) and how many that is a day (307). Useful.

Snowy walking today. It got a bit too snowy at some points but it was lovely.

I did it! I won us £2,000 funding for BOW! I can’t believe it! So pleased!

Seeing Jonny this evening. It’s been ages and it was so nice to see him.

Doing the pitch. I did it. And I did it well. Whatever the outcome is.

My new water bottle. Hello Joseph Joseph.

What felt like a good estate agent conversation. I hope that one of these two flats is it. And less stress without other people viewing them.

A final walk through the gentle snowfall and the big piles of snow. Bye Oslo, you’ve been fabulous.

Getting my pitch written at the airport. I feel a lot happier now that I’ve done that.

Getting home and Stuart coming over for food and cuddles. It was lovely to sleep next to him. For a change!

BOW website is live! It’s happening.

Two nice meetings. One drinking coffee and walking around the park, mainly just getting to know each other. And one with two cool architects designing a fun project I want to do.

Dinner with Jana. In a beautiful Japanese restaurant.

I’ve been invited to pitch for a £5k grant!

Writing up BOW stuff and calming myself down after a frenzied afternoon.

Half a pub quiz with Jonny in the quiet pub.

Lots of housemates in the kitchen. And I told them about BOW.

A team lunch for Anthony’s birthday. It was a nice bonding experience.

Free Fortnum and Mason bits. Hello yummy ginger biscuits and fabulous face oil.

Working on BOW. Getting the manifesto done and feeling happy with doing something and shaking off the low mood. It’s nice to get compliments about your writing too.

A night with Jonny, eating at Rasa and talking about moving in together. Plus he gave me my birthday present. Hello perfect Muji mugs! 😍

Stuart phoning me during Matilda by Alt-j live in Madrid.

Having Stuart round, planning our cottage getaway.

I made a ridiculously delicious dinner. I’m so proud of it. Squash, leek and spinach gratin.

Finally getting round to writing the rules for BOW. Felt good to get something achieved.

Photos of me and mum wearing my vulva t-shirts.

A beautiful, sunny walk with them.

Telling them all about Body of Women. A big moment and it went well. And then mum gave me a big hug again before bed and told me how proud of me she is and she was sorry for being rubbish when it all happened. It feels good to have told them.

Volunteering for the Foodbank. It was a good three hours of smiling and chatting and doing.

Going to see the space at Southbank for BOW at WOW. It’s going to be so good!

Our workshop for BOW in the evening. Lovely feminist friends, coming together to help us and give us ideas and energy and love. We came up with a great idea and I can’t wait to see it happen!
