Lying in the sun in the park, reading. First time this year.

The butterfly walk and seeing people so excited by spotting them.

Listening to A British Scandal.

Seeing my living room tidy and hoovered.

New hand towel dispensers. It shouldn’t make me as happy as it did.

Finally reading a good book.

Getting rid of the permanent marker from the whiteboard.

A clean bathroom.

Nice clouds

BBC Woman’s Hour started following me on Instagram

Getting to visit the woods.

Then sitting there for two hours, watching the squirrels and taking photos of the light through the leaves. And being paid for it.

The beautiful fabric of Jo’s dungarees.

Realising that I wasn’t in front of a screen all day and that that is a lovely thing.

Some really great trees.

Finding a Henry hoover on the street and taking it home and cleaning ask the dirty fluffy corners.

I also got a free vegan peanut butter blondie from the Deli and I had a bath. Pretty good day.

The smell of suntan lotion on my skin.

Clean white bedsheets.

Doing s bit of yoga in the park after the run. Being outside under the blue sky as the breeze cooled me. It was lovely.

Sending the young french woman a reassuring message. Through Jo.

A clean bed, a clean kitchen and a clean bathroom. Clean clean clean.

Watching Elder Millennial.

Clean, white, ironed bedsheets.

Quorn in my curry. Not something I usually have but it was actually really delicious.

Playing the animal noises game with Libby after Andrew left.

A night with Jo. Petek and chats. Lots of good chats. About sex and babies and the future and housemates. It was exactly what I needed.

Having a shower before bed. Washing off all the suntan lotion and sweat and having clean feet and soft skin in bed, with nothing else on.

Cleaning the bathroom. Hello clean plughole.

Buttery jacket potatoes at lunch.

Bivan’s new house and finishing the pollution game

Another day of lying in the sun. The (slightly overgrown) garden in the morning and the park in the afternoon with Will.

Being in the sun all day but not getting burnt. So grown up.

That feeling of being freshly washed after a day of suntan lotion and sweat and getting into a clean, white bed.

Clean clean shower. Actually properly clean.

I Got Life. Making me feel better about the no kids decision again.

Cuddling up on the sofa with Jo and Jonny. With Jonny looking like E.T.

Sunny sunny sunny.

Sending off my invoice for the last three Saturdays. Please let her pay me tomorrow.

My outfit today. Stuart’s jumper, my black denim jacket (it was warm enough to ditch the winter coat for a day) and my freshly washed and clean smelling scarf.

Silly book title lols.

Smelling my clean scarf. I heart clean clothes smell.

Got my glasses. Love my glasses.

Coming home to see that Jonny had left my room looking immaculate. Minimalist mates forever.

Getting the budget. Or a bit of it at least.

Facemasks and vulvas.

Going and buying a box full of plants and seeds for the garden. Green just makes me so happy.

Getting my fingers in the dirt, on my own, planting them in.

Clean white sheets. I forget how much I love them.

Amazing ice patterns in beautiful, frosty Bristol.

Getting home to my room and my space. A bit of organising, a bit of throwing away, a bit of rearranging.

Clean white sheets and a white lampshade.

Clean scarf. It smells so lovely. I keep smooshing my face into it.
Completely fucking up the crossword at lunchtime with James. Loads of lols.
