Sharing my vagina pot news in the team meeting. Getting a high five.
Singing ‘The Greatest’ walking home.
Feeling good in Serious Adult dress.
Making the house look pretty with flatmates. Organised the DVDs, did more gardening (well, hacking) and discovered an insane amount of old remotes.
Sitting in the sun, in our new chair, drinking coke from a glass bottle. It’s just like being on holiday.
A perfectly lined-up stripy top and a new way of hemming necklines.
The dream team. Me, Froggy and Rochelle setting up the hub. They make me laugh so much. Andy with his drill and Rochelle’s slippers. The place looks amazing, I’m so proud of myself.
Uniqlo date night with Jonny. It was SO. GOOD. That is the best Uniqlo ever and I spent £100 and I don’t even care.
Icco pizza. Oh god I could eat a hundred in one go. I wish it never ended.
Basically just such a great day. So positive. So buzzed. I’m actually doing this.
Being home. Seeing the countryside and beautiful villages. Smelling the fresh air and wood smoke. And feeling bizarrely Christmassy.
Seeing my dresses and clothes that I left behind. My wardrobe has just quadrupled in size.
Just being in my childhood house. So much stuff is the same. I move around the house in the same way. It’s really comforting.
A sunshine message from mum.
I made another T-shirt.
This video about the creepy things that men say. Kind of not funny but an entertaining video.
Getting to try my new coat (which is slightly waterproof) on a cold and rainy morning. Perfect timing, coat.
Big bits of brownie edges too nibble on at work.
A big group of people came into the deli for food and the three of us immediately started working perfectly together to get everything done. After a quiet, quite stressful morning it was good to all be on the same team again. Plus it was exciting to serve a big group.
My new jumper. It’s not itchy, it’s not saggy, it’s the perfect color and it only cost $8 from the charity shop.
Remembering something slightly embarrassing that I said when I was a bit drunk the other night. Woops!
Spending some time alone in our room doing a hair mask, having a hot shower whilst listening to music and then putting on warm comfy clothes and feeling clean and relaxed. Perfect for a dark, rainy evening.
Buying a handmade floral dress from Newtown Festival
Making a delicious dinner that I haven’t made before. Something different is always more exciting but it’s even better when it actually tastes nice too
Sitting chatting with our housemates about the meanings of our names and just having a giggle together
Listening to Ben Howard, wearing my purple rain coat I bought in Cornwall and walking along in the slight rain reminded me so strongly of everything about our holiday in Cornwall last summer. Our first real holiday together, my favourite place and the moment we decided to go travelling together for a long time. Who knew walking in the rain would bring back such happy memories
I tried on all my clothes I’m taking travelling when I was supposed to be working. Exciting and much more fun
My boyfriend had a meat free lunch today because its National Vegetarian Week. I’m sure he’s doing it for all his own reasons but I feel a little bit touched, like he’s doing it because he knows it will make me happy. Either way, it’s great.
