Our beautiful tree pits on the street.

Mum telling me that another boater called out to ask after my cyst as they passed by.

Reading in the sun after work in the park.

Having work to do.

Selling tickets immediately for the Period Party.

The street garden my neighbours put in today.

Being recognised at the fabric shop.

The free sunflower from a lovely neighbour.

I made chive pancakes. Well, my version of.

P.s. and smiling at the guy who plays the instrument under the bridge. And he grinned back.

This business. Who are “sorry”.

Smiling and waving at the woman across the street from me as we waited for the binmen to get outside so we could clap them.

Chats with colleagues throughout the day – in the office, on the streets. It felt like normal. Sort of.

Planting trees in the local park. I planted oak trees and dogwood and they will be there for hundreds of years after I’m gone. I feel so wholesome and lovely.

Bread, butter, pesto.

Delicious Turkish with Rosie. Including feta ice cream.

The happy resident, who thanked us for being here and wanted us to do it all the time.

Watching Barry’s arms load up the van.

It’s over. It’s all done. Pizza and bed.

The man on the bus who told me we were in Finsbury Park because he’d overheard me asking when I got on. So sweet I wanted to cry.

Ruby’s pleasure talk. Meeting a woman who had seen me at WOW, in both capacities. And a woman who had drawn me naked. And realising I don’t need to be like Ruby, I can be by myself.

Walking along the canal in the sun after work. Sitting on a bench, watching a cat watch me from inside a canal boat.

Discovering new storage areas in the basement. And the creepy Scottish puppets dolls down there…

Bit of Friday night gardening.

Messing around on Snapchat.

Going to the multi faith event at the Finsbury Park mosque in the evening. Speeches followed by everyone breaking fast together at a huge long tablecloth on the road. Delicious curry, loads of fruit and so many dates. Plus a funny woman to chat to and keep me company.

Beers in the park after work with Holly

A Ben and Jerry’s ice cream sandwich

Community. My community.

Two of my sunflower seeds are sprouting! I’m so happy!

The free plant giveaway by the cute community group. Got me a chilli plant and some salad leaves.

The delicious food at Holly and Al’s BBQ. Of course.

Visiting the mosque next to my house for Neighbourhood Day. I’ve never been inside a mosque before but I’ve wanted to. It was so welcoming and so busy. And Jeremy Corbyn was there giving a lovely speech about community and mix of cultures in this area. It was a great event, I’m so glad I went. I even squeezed in a feminist chat.

The cute photo of me as a child, feeding a chicken.

Crocheting and colouring in whilst watching The Cider House Rules.
