Organic fairtrade bananas without the plastic bag! Dilemma over.

I finished my dungarees!

Two half pints in the pub with Jonny after swerving on the busy new bar opening.

A free bunch of asparagus. So of course I immediately ate an entire bunch.

Starting my dungarees

Evening with my old mates. Didn’t leave feeling sad or embarrassed and regretting anything. I’m in a much happier place.

Women sharing their love letters to their vulvas.

Giving myself time to put everything away calmly and as slowly as I wanted.

Smiling in the Uber on the way home, feeling proud of myself for raising another £302 for Bloody Good Period and for bringing sex and vulva positivity to another room of people.

Colouring in for craft hour

Walking for an hour to meet Jen. Under a lovely dusk sky, smiling and focusing on the positive things

A night with Jen. Big Japanese curry and some beer.

The Tracy Emin exhibition at the White Cube. God I love that gallery.

Finishing off my skirt. I did it. I made it. I hand sewed the button holes and I finished it and it looks good.

Rewired the lamp (again). I love doing that.

Photographing the vulvas from last week. They are so fabulous.

Making a skirt. Instead of working.

The storytelling night. Flirting with Matt. Eating cheesy chips. Laughing at good and bad stories.

Watching No Show

Going to a member only bar in Soho that wasn’t in the least bit wanky

Another Roger salad for breakfast

He text me first!

Learning how to weave. I absolutely loved it

Showing off my reindeer. Especially to Keith.

Pleased that he still wants to see me. And not replying to him for ages. And not even feeling the need. Plus he then responded much more! So much better for my self esteem.

Masterbating feutus facts and Harry Potter porn podcasts

New phone!

Making reindeer at work for the mental wellbeing winter crafts event.

The flurry of 10 messages. I really want this to mean something.

A queer fayre with my first mulled wine of the season.

Jam with silver bits in. Hello glittery poo!

Carving a ring.

The leaf, stuck into my window frame and waving out at the world.

Finishing the building blocks for Freddie’s Christmas present.

Walking around the park in the sun, looking at the coloured leaves and enjoying the warm weather and no headphones. And flirty texts with Nat.

A day with Jonny – Assassin’s Creed, organic shopping and sewing

New table

Cooking new things

Doing some embroidery again

Cleaning. I like having a clean house

Being outside having a walk in the sun along the railway line

Accidentally taking a sneaky photo of a colleague with the flash on. Thank god she didn’t notice.

The sun came out at lunch again. Another sunbathing-in-the-park lunchtime.

Making four pairs of pants in the beautiful studio.

Another tasty meal from Roger. This time, his notorious breakfast salad.

Cutting things out at work.

Having a night out with Jonny where it felt like it used to. And going to see Sam’s new signed band play. I didn’t like the music but going to a gig was fun and seeing friends was nice.

Spending the day making vulvas at WOW and chatting about all the vagina. Such a great day!

Watching the twerking workshop. I wish I could have joined in.

Being asked to do more workshops, give talks and come along to Vagina Days.

Going for a walk around the park in the sun at lunchtime.

Spending a lot of the day chatting to Adam and Libby. No managers, no ‘adults’.

Coming home and sewing. Finally. I’ve been wanting to do it for days.

Wearing eye makeup and feeling pretty.

Went to a machine embroidery class. It was fun! I like doing things.

And it was nice to chat on the phone whilst waiting for my bus after too.

Baked some cakes! To apologise to Stuart for ruining his birthday yesterday. 😬

Teaching Jo how to embroider.

Watching Stuart play Assassin’s Creed after he helped me go through the job description.

Went to the gym and did more than I’ve been doing. Followed by the sauna. Felt pretty smug about that.

Finally finished my application and then managed to smash out another one. Very smug about that.

A bit of crafting in the evening. Vagina Christmas cards and homemade envelopes.

Sticking it out and meeting Kieran to hear about the waste management work. Not what I want, but interesting. And a good chance to feel like I’m good at something.

Lino printing vagina Christmas cards.

A classic date night with Jonny. Too much alcohol, some penis chat and Peteks. Perfect.

New toaster. She’s a beauty.

Making envelopes. It’s nice to be crafty.

A fun first date.

I grew these! And I ate them for dinner.

I made a dress.

An evening with Bivan, playing guitar and singing, watching Back.

Cool egg patterns

A day of doing. Made a dress, mowed the lawn, planted a tree.

Discovered we can watch catch up TV on our TV. Watched Eden with Bivan whilst eating too many nachos.

‘Working’ from home. Or embroidering for a few hours.

Finding the perfect bedside table. Secondhand. Wooden. White. Cheap. I knew I was waiting for a reason.

Starting the campsite research. And not being immediately put off. Maybe it could happen.

Ovary embroidery workshop! Nice to spend a day with a needle in my hand.

Fresh hot roti at lunch.

Pizza and beer with Jonny. The perfect thing to get me off to sleep early ready for my 4am start tomorrow.

The Period Party! Everything about it was just so amazing! The unexpected friends, the love, the laughter, the vulvas, the glitter, the donations and the pub quiz.

Not to mention the accidental anal sex talk in front of my boss, sharing the vulva book and having people tell me that I’m hilarious. Guys, stop…

What an amazing evening! I’m totally buzzing and so proud of myself.

Crouch End Broadway. It’s like a little village or rural town. So adorable.

Going through some woods… FOR WORK. I touched dogs!

Sewing. I forgot how much I love you.

Visiting the mosque next to my house for Neighbourhood Day. I’ve never been inside a mosque before but I’ve wanted to. It was so welcoming and so busy. And Jeremy Corbyn was there giving a lovely speech about community and mix of cultures in this area. It was a great event, I’m so glad I went. I even squeezed in a feminist chat.

The cute photo of me as a child, feeding a chicken.

Crocheting and colouring in whilst watching The Cider House Rules.
