‘Working’ from home. Or embroidering for a few hours.

Finding the perfect bedside table. Secondhand. Wooden. White. Cheap. I knew I was waiting for a reason.

Starting the campsite research. And not being immediately put off. Maybe it could happen.

Ovary embroidery workshop! Nice to spend a day with a needle in my hand.

Fresh hot roti at lunch.

Pizza and beer with Jonny. The perfect thing to get me off to sleep early ready for my 4am start tomorrow.

The Period Party! Everything about it was just so amazing! The unexpected friends, the love, the laughter, the vulvas, the glitter, the donations and the pub quiz.

Not to mention the accidental anal sex talk in front of my boss, sharing the vulva book and having people tell me that I’m hilarious. Guys, stop…

What an amazing evening! I’m totally buzzing and so proud of myself.

Crouch End Broadway. It’s like a little village or rural town. So adorable.

Going through some woods… FOR WORK. I touched dogs!

Sewing. I forgot how much I love you.

Visiting the mosque next to my house for Neighbourhood Day. I’ve never been inside a mosque before but I’ve wanted to. It was so welcoming and so busy. And Jeremy Corbyn was there giving a lovely speech about community and mix of cultures in this area. It was a great event, I’m so glad I went. I even squeezed in a feminist chat.

The cute photo of me as a child, feeding a chicken.

Crocheting and colouring in whilst watching The Cider House Rules.

Waking up happy and positive. At 11am.

Buying fresh sourdough to make this delicious breakfast (yes, I added sugar snap peas). And accidentally buying an expensive apple, beetroot and ginger juice.

An afternoon with Wiseman. Learning to crochet, talking feelings but mainly just laughing at her 1 second story repeatedly.’Now? Yes!’

Did a bit more carving on my bowl. It’s smoother now. And I finally got to use a curved knife.

Set up OKCupid. And currently don’t feel bad about any of it.

Made a great soup. Yes to Sunday cooking.

The green wood bowl workshop. I made a bowl from a chunk of log using an axe, an adze, a chisel and a knife. It was amazing! And such hard work. But I did it.

Doing it with Jim. I love him. What an amazing friend to have had for 25 years. He’s one of the most caring and supportive men I know. I’m so lucky.

Watching Happy.

A night of knitting, pizza, mulled wine and Christmas songs. Starting with this beautiful pike of unraveled wool.

The fox sauntering down the road after work.

Feeling happy. Really genuinely happy. Like the old me happy.

Hampstead is beautiful. Like, REALLY beautiful.

My vagina pot is really coming along. It’s so much fun!

All the sausage chat at pottery.

First night of my pottery course.

Potatoey, tomatoy, garlicy, eggy dinner. Rustic.

Lunch dumplings

Embroidery with Sarah. Did a vagina. Obvs.

Baked biscuits (rock cakes) and jam tarts.

Did some morning yoga

Vaginaments. I need these.
My first Thai massage. So crack-y.

The loud cat that snuck in and gave me the vicious meow. And the following WhatsApps.

Finished my top

A little wander around Stoke Newington, buying fabric and drinking chai lattes

Cauliflower cheese. (And fish fingers)

Walking along the old railway. Stroking dogs, spotting baby squirrels and smelling the fresh air.

Making a pattern for my top and sewing it. Finally. But then accidentally sewing the sleeve to the neckline. 🙈

All the Korean food. And I mean all of it.

Only went and booked a pottery course. Again.
Stewed apple. Didn’t go quite to plan but delicious anyway.

Bashed out the to do list after work.

My new sewing corner. Buying a desk and not building one was definitely the way forward. And I’ve already fixed my jeans.

The beautiful ceramics in Peckham.

A leafy walk with Jonny.

Lobster or baby?

An evening starting a new top, putting Holly’s present together and listening to a podcast.

When the vet fell out of his hammock on Eden.

Did some lino printing with Jonny at my house. I did vaginas and he did a SICK Drake.

Had a nap at work.

Chocolate Oatly. Yum.

Doing all the things to make me feel better today. Namely:
The cheap and delicious chocolate custard cake.
Sacking off work and just getting lots of life admin shit done – new passport ordered, food bags picked up, books donated, people responded to, face mask…urm…masked.
Then some creative shit. Sketching from the nude photographs I had done and watching a funny video about whittling. Then a smidge of learning some French.
