Finishing work early to nap.

Spending the evening with Sean, Emily and Shaan at their new flat.

The silly Wednesday memes.

A free bunch of asparagus. So of course I immediately ate an entire bunch.

Starting my dungarees

Evening with my old mates. Didn’t leave feeling sad or embarrassed and regretting anything. I’m in a much happier place.

Scrambled tofu on toast for breakfast. With tomatoes and kale.

Vietnamese aubergine hotpot.

Dinner at Ed and Laura’s. Plus Laura’s brother. Who doesn’t eat fruit.

(Plus my new bag and print)

Penny’s here! My tiny friend for the weekend.

Lying on the grass at lunch time, wearing a jumper and jeans but still feeling the sun warm on my face.

Made a delicious dinner for friends and didn’t get stressed about it.

This tweet.

Holding a meeting at work about ideas and feeling in charge and creative. And learning about the ULEZ stuff and just feeling like my boss really likes me and is happy I’m there.

Dinner party with Alec and Jo. Especially chat about Jo’s big feet.

Matilda was back. And we took her for a walk and she has A MAC 😍

A big roast dinner all together with no meat and an apple crumble with custard.

Watching Love Actually. I mean it’s terrible but it’s good. Except for the sexism and stuff.

Beautiful sunny London. It’s so perfect when it looks like this.

Meeting a woman who organises WOW and pitching two ideas to her. She loved both of them! I’m so proud of us for pitching so well. Fingers crossed we make it into the festival.

Buying a new bag. It was tan. I had to.

And a fourth, dinner at Jo’s with her brother and fiancé. It was really nice. Maybe a friend extension.

My boyfriend telling his workmates about the Bechdel test and then, when one said that they don’t watch chick flicks, explaining that films with more women in aren’t women’s films, they are just films that more accurately represent society.
Accidentally semi-shouting ‘cheese, Gromit’ in a momentary lapse in music and chat in the cafe at lunch.
Going for dinner at a new friends house. Lovely food, lots of laughs, plenty of wine and some new people to chat to.
