The play. Rejoicing at her wondrous vulva the young woman applauded herself. So good. So emotional in a way I didn’t expect. But really good. I love seeing feminist things. It makes me feel stronger.
Going to the gym and walking home in the sunny winter day.
Talking to Stuart. He’s very sweet. And he sent me a brilliant feminist poem about vaginas. Which reminded me of one of my favourite quotes – Our foremothers were farmers, warriors, builders and weavers. They had wrinkles and pubic hair and opinions.
Japanese dinner with Will. A really lovely evening. He’s still very much got a place in my heart.

Today was a day of so many smiles.

Going to a Christmas party where I talked about vaginas and air pollution.
Having Stuart meet my friends and then stay at my house, where he said really sweet stuff to me. I like this guy.
Volunteering for the Foodbank. It was a good three hours of smiling and chatting and doing.
Going to see the space at Southbank for BOW at WOW. It’s going to be so good!
Our workshop for BOW in the evening. Lovely feminist friends, coming together to help us and give us ideas and energy and love. We came up with a great idea and I can’t wait to see it happen!
D
ay one of the Influencing Change course. It was so exciting to feel excited about it all again. And to distill my ideas down into something more focused.
Talking to Joy about the project. And all the other people that came up to me to talk about vaginas. It was a subject that so many people wanted to talk about. It was a real boost.
Beers with Jonny, making me see the good in the day again.
Coffee with Jen. She was nice to me and didn’t tell me off.
Going to the WOW campaign workshop. So lovely to meet more fabulous women. And be asked for help on a project by someone who was facilitating it! Such a buzz.
Lottie’s party. Alec’s stories, seeing Ciaran, drunk Jonny, inflexible Doug and hanging out with Will. It was a really fun night!
Beautiful sunny London. It’s so perfect when it looks like this.
Meeting a woman who organises WOW and pitching two ideas to her. She loved both of them! I’m so proud of us for pitching so well. Fingers crossed we make it into the festival.
Buying a new bag. It was tan. I had to.
And a fourth, dinner at Jo’s with her brother and fiancé. It was really nice. Maybe a friend extension.
A day off, spent quite quietly again, doing things that needed to get done. Taxes, cleaning, sorting. Sending photographs of my vulva to feminist artists to make body positive artwork. You know, the usual.
Impromptu lunch with Hannah at Abocado. It was nice to have a hug.
A beer and a fire. I always love a fire.
The Period Party! Everything about it was just so amazing! The unexpected friends, the love, the laughter, the vulvas, the glitter, the donations and the pub quiz.
Not to mention the accidental anal sex talk in front of my boss, sharing the vulva book and having people tell me that I’m hilarious. Guys, stop…
What an amazing evening! I’m totally buzzing and so proud of myself.

All the housemates, at the pub, for my birthday. Plus Muji birthday presents!
