An evening with Rosie, sacking off the Happiness Festival for wine and chats instead.

My amazing birthday present from them! My vulva design, etched into a silver necklace. I’m in love.

Wagamama. I forgot how delicious it was.

This email from a friend/colleague. What a lovely thing to read.

Talking about Body of Women and feminism with Pete. He’s a sweet guy.

Reminiscing about Mike with Lauren and Bivan as she cleaned out the gross fridge.

When his socks matched the floor of the Tate. And the woman next to us laughed too.

Getting hyped up on coffee and going to see the fatberg. And the cat memes that helped to get women the vote.

Discount Suit Company. Cocktails and chats.

We took BOW to WOW. And it was amazing.

One woman told us it was the reason she bought a ticket for WOW.

Meeting Mary.

Getting it all done ready for WOW tomorrow. And having a little dance. And feeling like I’ve really properly smiled for the first time in a few days.

Putting up an image of me on Instagram from BOW. It felt scary but exciting. It’s happening now. Happy International Women’s Day.

My new plate. Whoops.

Leaving work early.

Group chat about menstrual chunks and goddess rituals. Great in spag bol.

The play. Rejoicing at her wondrous vulva the young woman applauded herself. So good. So emotional in a way I didn’t expect. But really good. I love seeing feminist things. It makes me feel stronger.

The face licking battle on the sofa.

He bought me Mary Beard’s Women and Power book.

Having almost 2,500 likes on my latest Instagram post. That’s so many more than I’ve ever had!

Mum’s blood test results are back. It’s pretty much certain that she doesn’t have ovarian cancer!

I might be in WOW twice! Vulva workshops are being considered!

Actual period blood. Please let this be the end of the hormone mayhem.

A night with Sarah. Lumiere and chips in a gay pub.

The Life of Trees exhibition at the V&A. And going there for a general wander around to look at things I wanted to see. It was tough at times but I loved this photo by Bae Bien U.

The condom workshop. Money, free condoms and strong women.

This goat(?) His nose makes me smile.

Making this print of my favourite quote. I’m going to get it printed and framed when I have money.

The excitement of going to see a flat. Even if it didn’t turn out as we’d hoped.

An evening of chats, biscuits, embroidery and Sarah Millican with Jo.

Going to the gym and walking home in the sunny winter day.

Talking to Stuart. He’s very sweet. And he sent me a brilliant feminist poem about vaginas. Which reminded me of one of my favourite quotes – Our foremothers were farmers, warriors, builders and weavers. They had wrinkles and pubic hair and opinions.

Japanese dinner with Will. A really lovely evening. He’s still very much got a place in my heart.

Presents, cooking together, all the food, Jane and Tony coming over, all the cheers-ing, chatting to Stuart on the phone, my new DMs, Stick Man, skyping with the Fems, sitting in front of the fire, playing with Alexa, a feminist book from my brother, Alec’s weird melting video, playing the piano, Soph getting the body mop, Snapchat and naming a gravy boat after Stuart.

Discovering Hyrrs (feminist hymns) and doing a couple of hours volunteering for Bloody Good Period, sorting out tampons and pads and eating mince pies.

Travelling around London and everyone is happy and smiling and carrying big bags full of presents to take home for Christmas.

Everyone together for Christmas in B&H’s house. Indian food, fire, family. So lovely. Let Christmas begin!

Writing a press release. And sending it out to famous people and publications. Exciting scary.

Going to see Sofie Hagen with Jo. Even the awkward bit at the end where I told her about my vulva t-shirts.

A phone call because he didn’t have time to text today. And a ‘cant wait to see you’. It made my tummy flip and put a big smile on my face.

Today was a day of so many smiles.

Remembering last night and the girlfriend chat.

Getting an interview for a job I really want.

Being asked to write a blog for a feminist site and being approached by an award winning feminist podcast to talk about my vulva t-shirts.

Going to a Christmas party where I talked about vaginas and air pollution.

Having Stuart meet my friends and then stay at my house, where he said really sweet stuff to me. I like this guy.

Volunteering for the Foodbank. It was a good three hours of smiling and chatting and doing.

Going to see the space at Southbank for BOW at WOW. It’s going to be so good!

Our workshop for BOW in the evening. Lovely feminist friends, coming together to help us and give us ideas and energy and love. We came up with a great idea and I can’t wait to see it happen!

The squirrel outside the gym, pulling chips out the newspaper.

Had a really positive morning. Sent off a job application, had a conference call where I found out we’ll be paid for WOW and then I went to the gym. All before 10am.

Spent the afternoon sewing more vulvas.

Then I met another great feminist at Corinne’s leaving party. It was really fun to talk to her. Whilst texting Stuart about cheese. So much cheese.

Sewing a vulva

Watching Dawson’s Creek

Having a couple of coffees with Corinne

We’re going to be at WOW! I’m so excited!

Going into Liberty for the first time. That place is ridiculous.

The Good Eggs in the pub for Corinne’s return. Such a funny night. Susan, bring in the Hellman’s.

Remembering last night. Remembering I bought this Slow Jams CD from a homeless man whilst very drunk.

Finding jeans in a charity shop! (They later turned out to not actually fit amazingly well but still, it was an exciting moment)

Dinner at Jen’s. Delicious and feminist-y.

Meeting Cordelia and hearing all about how the workshops work. And the period burlesque.

Second date. He’s funny.

Kissing. Lots of kissing.

A lunch time walk with the WEN women. That was a really nice connection.

Walking down a beautiful new street. Saw a huge wooden bird in a window.

New No Such Thing As A Fish podcasts on the bus. Really made me laugh.

ay one of the Influencing Change course. It was so exciting to feel excited about it all again. And to distill my ideas down into something more focused.

Talking to Joy about the project. And all the other people that came up to me to talk about vaginas. It was a subject that so many people wanted to talk about. It was a real boost.

Beers with Jonny, making me see the good in the day again.

Coffee with Jen. She was nice to me and didn’t tell me off.

Going to the WOW campaign workshop. So lovely to meet more fabulous women. And be asked for help on a project by someone who was facilitating it! Such a buzz.

Lottie’s party. Alec’s stories, seeing Ciaran, drunk Jonny, inflexible Doug and hanging out with Will. It was a really fun night!

Beautiful sunny London. It’s so perfect when it looks like this.

Meeting a woman who organises WOW and pitching two ideas to her. She loved both of them! I’m so proud of us for pitching so well. Fingers crossed we make it into the festival.

Buying a new bag. It was tan. I had to.

And a fourth, dinner at Jo’s with her brother and fiancé. It was really nice. Maybe a friend extension.

A day by the pool. This beautiful pool.

Jumping in photos.

Beers, cards, feminist chats.

The grass is growing. And my first tomato is turning red.

The Dreamers Awake exhibition at the White Cube. But mainly the carved wooden vaginas.

Wearing my new swishy skirt and feeling pretty fabulous.

Coming home to see that Jonny had left my room looking immaculate. Minimalist mates forever.

Getting the budget. Or a bit of it at least.

Facemasks and vulvas.

A day off, spent quite quietly again, doing things that needed to get done. Taxes, cleaning, sorting. Sending photographs of my vulva to feminist artists to make body positive artwork. You know, the usual.

Impromptu lunch with Hannah at Abocado. It was nice to have a hug.

A beer and a fire. I always love a fire.

The Period Party! Everything about it was just so amazing! The unexpected friends, the love, the laughter, the vulvas, the glitter, the donations and the pub quiz.

Not to mention the accidental anal sex talk in front of my boss, sharing the vulva book and having people tell me that I’m hilarious. Guys, stop…

What an amazing evening! I’m totally buzzing and so proud of myself.
