Flowers on my way to work

Spoken word night for feminists. Some incredible women and amazing poems.

Running for the bus down the middle of the road afterwards.

An email from a women on Friday, thanking us for what we did and saying she’s now signed up for therapy. Such an incredible feeling.

Giving myself the morning to finish Atonement and relax in bed.

The #freeperiods protest outside Downing Street. Lots of cheering, glitter, red and menstrual products. And lots of fabulous feminists, obviously.

Chatting to Holly in New York. So nice to catch up.

Volunteering for the Foodbank. It was a good three hours of smiling and chatting and doing.

Going to see the space at Southbank for BOW at WOW. It’s going to be so good!

Our workshop for BOW in the evening. Lovely feminist friends, coming together to help us and give us ideas and energy and love. We came up with a great idea and I can’t wait to see it happen!

Sausage and jazz. Classic mix.

Part two of the campaigning course. Hearing Nimco Ali speak. She’s so brilliant. And having the possibility of teaming up with some other brilliant women. Very exciting!

Me: oh, someone’s due a smear

Ivan: guilty

A day by the pool. This beautiful pool.

Jumping in photos.

Beers, cards, feminist chats.

International Women’s Day. Proud, uplifted and inspired. Every year. Plus my colleague bought in green, purple and white snacks to celebrate. I loved the appropriateness of the jammy dodgers.

The perfect pubes on this embroidered vulva.

Watching 20th Century Women. The perfect IWD date with Jo.

Neat packing. Of the van and the container.

The event was fun. I like chatting to the women I work with. Even if the event didn’t get as much attention as it should have.

Showing off my tattoo. He really liked it.

Coming home to my housemates. Shared cigarettes and wine and dinner. It’s nice when we’re all together.

Singing and driving the van. By myself.

The event looked good. And I chatted to Emma about crocheting vulvas for the Period Party. She’s cool.

Kissing.
