Finding out I can use the money for Period Parties! 🤩

Feeling good. Good fun chats with Jonny in the kitchen and remembering why I feel so good about the volunteering

Time to myself.

A walk as the sun was setting and the light was beautiful.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. Still makes me laugh

Going for lunch on my own at Romeo’s. Reading in the dark corner.

GIS-ing like a pro.

A night on the sofa, in my comfies, all the candles lit, Christmas lights on, hot water bottle and The Santa Clause. Exactly what I wanted.

A Frida Kahlo inspirational quote

Working from home. I.e. doing lino printing, watching Dumplin’ and going for a sunny walk to the post office.

Dinner and drinks for Becky’s birthday and making friends with Emma. Feeling like I could actually help with something. I like being open about sexual assault. It feels like a helpful thing to be open about.

More doggy cuddles from Penny

Bridget Jones’s Baby. It felt like the perfect thing to watch.

All the people messaging to say how much they love my Instagram story.

Having Adam back at work

Thinking about next holidays. And staying in my parents lovely flat.

Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again. SO GOOD. I even clapped at the end. I never clap at the end of films. I loved it. It was perfect.

Jonny’s response to my period starting

Hunt for the Wilderpeople

Clean clean shower. Actually properly clean.

I Got Life. Making me feel better about the no kids decision again.

Cuddling up on the sofa with Jo and Jonny. With Jonny looking like E.T.

A super productive morning. Thanks sunshine and period!

Anal sex and pegging chat with Jo over a hot chocolate.

A film and a beer with Alec. Love that guy.

Getting some projects. And the freedom to think of creative new ideas for them.

The Darkest Hour. UP YER BUM!

Hair.

Walking to work through the park in the morning sun. It cheered me up more than I thought it would.

Mum is fine! Thank god.

Watching a film by myself in the living room. Plus a couple of chocolate biscuits.

Aside from the worst hangover ever, it was nice to spend some time with Stuart without needing to get up and leave really early.

The pizza that Jo bought round for me. So needed.

Watching Miracle on 34th Street with a hungover Matt, mainly napping.

Matilda was back. And we took her for a walk and she has A MAC 😍

A big roast dinner all together with no meat and an apple crumble with custard.

Watching Love Actually. I mean it’s terrible but it’s good. Except for the sexism and stuff.

A walk around the resouvoirs. Chilly but beautiful.

Watching Notting Hill. What a film.

Just general housemate lols.

Period! And without all the usual hormones and pain. Very bizarre. But right on time. Can’t believe it’s finally settled into a pattern.

Still walking to work with a smile on my face. Especially over that bridge in the sun. I think I might be my favourite view in London. Can’t believe I’m enjoying working with children so much.

Watched The Martian with Matt and Scarlett. Can’t believe I liked another film.

Maybe got a job at WOW.

Got heaps more Instagram followers after a mention on Buzzfeed (it had some slightly negative repercussions. But also I love that woman who came to my rescue. Bye trolls).

Finally saw Dunkirk. Brilliant, so intense.

My breakfast. A smashed egg on sourdough.

A nut roast, cooked by my housemates.

Minions.

Watching Hunt For The Wildepeople on the sofa on a Tuesday

Booking a train to Brussels. Just like that.

A beautiful walk in the park with the kids. And playing in the park, swinging in the storm swing.

Then watching Moana and drinking beer with him.

International Women’s Day. Proud, uplifted and inspired. Every year. Plus my colleague bought in green, purple and white snacks to celebrate. I loved the appropriateness of the jammy dodgers.

The perfect pubes on this embroidered vulva.

Watching 20th Century Women. The perfect IWD date with Jo.

Visiting the mosque next to my house for Neighbourhood Day. I’ve never been inside a mosque before but I’ve wanted to. It was so welcoming and so busy. And Jeremy Corbyn was there giving a lovely speech about community and mix of cultures in this area. It was a great event, I’m so glad I went. I even squeezed in a feminist chat.

The cute photo of me as a child, feeding a chicken.

Crocheting and colouring in whilst watching The Cider House Rules.

My strangely patterned avocados.

A quiet haircut, whilst it rained outside.

Discovering Bridget Jones’s Diary in the house. I’ve been wanting to watch this for weeks! Enjoyed with two slices of warm banana bread, smothered in Malteaser spread. Happy Sunday!

The young man with his trousers below his bum, dark glasses on and hood up, running up the stairs to help a woman struggling with her pram. Judging a book by their cover once again. People are nice. Must remember that.

Cards and rap music with Jonny.

Hurricane Bianca. Yas. Terrible film but it made me laugh and cheered me up today. PMT laughs in the face of queens overacting.
