Cool egg patterns

A day of doing. Made a dress, mowed the lawn, planted a tree.

Discovered we can watch catch up TV on our TV. Watched Eden with Bivan whilst eating too many nachos.

Completely unexpected views of white cliffs on the train.
Flatmates. Cocktails. Almost Bao. Clearing rooms.

Call me on that late night daal.

A super fast and super successful shopping trip to Covent Garden.

Coming home to my housemates being fun and lovely. Plus a fantastically wanky shower head.

The Eid Mubarak celebrations at the local mosque. So many people out and about and dressed up nicely.

The smart little Apple keyboard. It makes a nice noise.
Coming home to a beer and a chat in the garden.
Flatmate reunion in the kitchen with pyjamas bottoms and politics. And orange juice.

Doing some découpage.
Spending the day with Rach. She makes me laugh.
Vagina chat with Scarlett and Becky. Imparting knowledge about the cervix and discovering things about the ovaries.

Chatting to the homeless man I used to walk past everyday. He remembered me and even asked about my new job.
A head massage, a glass of wine and a haircut.
Dinner with Becky’s posh friend.

A night in with the flatmates. Wine, Akon, pizza and pasta plus sparklers.
An hours walk in the sun in the middle of the day.
A few moments out in the office garden, away from the screens and amongst the plants.

Beyoncé. Formation. I slay.
A night with the flatties, meeting the new flattie. He seems really nice.
Cooking a proper meal again.

Seeing him.
The photoshoot. I’m so proud of myself. Debating Syria and then watching The Inbetweeners with my housemates. A diverse but brilliant evening.

They picked me!

These penguins.
Someone bought another one of my oven mitts. So proud.
Going out as a flat for some drinks and some singing in the car.

Getting up before everyone else and sitting in the sun meditating and reading.
Driving into Wellington on SH2 and seeing the beautiful city glimmering in the sunlight, just like it did nearly a whole year ago when we arrived.
The whole flat together, eating and laughing and laughing so much that eating is difficult.

He’s home!
He remembered our anniversary and gave me a lovely card.
Having everyone together in the flat for the first time in ages.

This crappy cake.
Fun at work. Chats, laughter and normality.
Flatmate fun. Including big thumbs up.

The Always #likeagirl campaign. Even if it is an advert, I still like the message behind it.
Kiwi accents. Confusing and funny.
Laughter and teasing with the flatmates.

Watching my flatmates do the 30 day ab challenge.
Being a bit of a cliche and playing ‘dancing on my own’ loudly and dancing in my room, on my own and smiling for every second of it.
A delicious dinner cooked by my flatmates and shared with us. Roast chicken and vegetables. God I love roast beetroot.

Going to an archery session.
Skyping into a surprise birthday party for a friend back home.
A flat dinner. Two chickens, loads of roast potatoes and lots of giggles about foreskins.

This bear
Driving over to our flatmate’s work with two other flatmates so we could hang out with him and get a free, delicious lunch
Driving up the ridiculously steep hill we live on in the old, slightly broken car and leaning back in my seat, feeling fairly certain that I’m vertical.
