First day. Not too bad actually.

I had great references! I mean, I should do, I wrote one of them myself.

Itsu for lunch. I’ve missed you.

Ate lots of vegetables.

Had nice conversations with mum, Jen and Jo. Which pulled me out of my slump.

Having wonderful Naomi to explain my feelings to, and having her be so immediately understanding.

The dome on top of the Reichstag.

Home sweet home. Hello vegetables.

Lots of texting. He’s very sweet.

Having Stuart round, planning our cottage getaway.

I made a ridiculously delicious dinner. I’m so proud of it. Squash, leek and spinach gratin.

Finally getting round to writing the rules for BOW. Felt good to get something achieved.

Presents, cooking together, all the food, Jane and Tony coming over, all the cheers-ing, chatting to Stuart on the phone, my new DMs, Stick Man, skyping with the Fems, sitting in front of the fire, playing with Alexa, a feminist book from my brother, Alec’s weird melting video, playing the piano, Soph getting the body mop, Snapchat and naming a gravy boat after Stuart.

A sunny autumn walk around the park. With the leaves and the blue sky and no headphones on.
Baking ginger biscuits. Eating a lot of the dough before any baking actually happened.

Lino printing some gold joy cards.

Also family whatsapp lolz with vegetable faces.

Remembering when Jonny and I were Mr and Mrs Bones. We made great incredible skeletons.

A goodbye dinner with Hol. Such a lovely evening. I’m really going to miss her. But she said some lovely things this evening that made me feel so good. I really feel like I can do this. I can achieve these things and I make this work. I have the skills. I just need to do it.

The food at Som Saa. Oh my god, so delicious. When that fish came out I almost died.

A walk in the woods. With the sun shining and on the look out for deer.

Waitrose bread and Président butter for an in car picnic lunch before the train back to London.

Hot cross buns.

A giant sunflower

Going to Fulham Palace with my cousin

Food of the future!

My breakfast. A smashed egg on sourdough.

A nut roast, cooked by my housemates.

Cool egg patterns

A day of doing. Made a dress, mowed the lawn, planted a tree.

Discovered we can watch catch up TV on our TV. Watched Eden with Bivan whilst eating too many nachos.

Ovary embroidery workshop! Nice to spend a day with a needle in my hand.

Fresh hot roti at lunch.

Pizza and beer with Jonny. The perfect thing to get me off to sleep early ready for my 4am start tomorrow.

Kayaking and paddle boarding on the lake. Floating peacefully in the sun until…

Doug’s incredible fire food. Excellent pepper.

Playing games for Corinne’s birthday. Mini Jenga, body parts and the one where I laughed too hard at ‘hole’.

Good chats and nice moments.

Chocolate Oatly. So delicious.

Fruit puree.

A walk in the park in the sun at lunch time. Working from home is nice.

Sitting in the garden, reading in the sun.

Potato and egg salad. Homemade.

The incredible thunder storm at night. I love a good storm!

Breakfast in Barcelona, lunch in Paris and dinner in London. Which makes my looooong train journey home sound a lot more exotic.

The photo of tired Alec and the angry looking guy behind him getting on the plane. We all did pretty well considering we had so little sleep.

Watching RuPaul in bed with Jonny. Again.

A walk along the cliffs to Beachy Head.

Mexican with Jonny. Waaaaay too much food. But it totally got me in the mood for Barcelona.

Watching RuPaul together in bed. We haven’t watched an episode at the same time for ages.

Sunny London

Halloumi fries and sourdough bread. So bloody delicious.

Going for a walk at lunchtime.

Two of my sunflower seeds are sprouting! I’m so happy!

The free plant giveaway by the cute community group. Got me a chilli plant and some salad leaves.

The delicious food at Holly and Al’s BBQ. Of course.

This funny tweet.

Walking around London with Jo. Plus a new Laos restaurant (with incredible rice) and a gallery.

The blue of the sky as I walked home, with the clouds super illuminated. There must have been a full moon.

Jen’s personal highlight of the week: being official outside of work friends with me. FINALLY! She admits it!

Beer and cuddles with Jo after work. Short and sweet.

Deciding to not give up sugar. Fuck that shit. I’m not down with fad diets and denying yourself anything. There’s no such thing as good and bad food.

The view from the top of Ljubljana castle. Great castle too! Including the Museum of Puppetry.

Delicious brown pizza bread things.

Hannah trying to knock my bag over as we left the airport but knocking hers over instead. Sounds shit. Proper made me lol.

Spending the afternoon with W. And finally making it to Dotori.

A walk in the sun

Accidentally getting too drunk in Shoreditch with some of the Good Eggs. Sorry Wiseman.

Driving through the countryside, down beautiful old lanes in the sunshine, singing as loud as I want.

Cuddles and secrets with my gorgeous little cousin.

Grapes and clotted cream. A dream mix.

Double lunch.

Jonny and Jo coming round to cheer me up.

Going out for dinner at Salvation in Noodles. Delicious and so close.

Three hours in York Hall with three babes.

The ice water bucket. Mainly Rosie and Holly’s reactions.

Talking willies and vaginas, lounging on Jana’s sofa and eating delicious food.

Realising I’m good at chatting to people. Like Ben.

Chatting to Will. Bit weird but still nice.

Peanut butter in dhal.

A busy swish. Finally.

Pizza, beer and chocolate mousse.

Portugal chats with NeverKissedATory.

A work beer. It’s been a long week.

Rosemary fries. So many rosemary fries.

Coming home to see my housemate’s purple light shining from his window. Apparently he’s made a light system for his plants. Not weed. Just regular plants. I like my housemates.

Deciding to walk to the next station and stepping outside to a beautiful sky and a lovely morning.

Being early so having a quick walk on Hampstead Heath, looking at the frozen ponds and finding a frozen glove.

Discovering a tiny and lovely Japanese restaurant just down the road. I love my area.
