Seeing the fox next door. He looked pretty unwell but it was so lovely to be so close to one.

Refilling my washing up liquid and it was only £1.51. I also just felt very happy doing it. It was what I’ve been wanting to do for a long time.

A really successful Labia Lessons with the Balham WI.

I saw the fox twice.

Talking about mental health in the MHA meeting.

Sitting out in the sun for a respite from my screen.

I got Elliott and she loves dad’s chew toy he made for her.

I saw a baby fox in the park.

I learnt how to weave a basket.

Discovering the secret garden behind the secret garden at work.

And watching the fox wander around it, completely unbothered by us.

Lying on our tummies looking in the long at moth larvae.

Autumn colours hitting the park.

The fox coming to say hi at lunch time.

Texting Dave.

Chatting to the guy in the hardware shop about magnets and velcro for ages.

Seeing a fox outside Tash’s house. Middle of the day, fairly busy road. Not bothered at all.

Did some sewing – finished Ciaran’s felt breakfast, made some more bags and masks and started Han’s bag.

Opening my blind to find a fox in the garden.

My flowers are growing.

Deciding to go swimming. And deciding to be happy at the same time.

Buying a beautiful swishy skirt.

One on one with Matt. And watching Planet Earth together. Cute polar bear cubs and baboons that don’t like the water.

(Today started off as quite a bad day. So I’m enjoying that the second half had lots more smiles in it. So there are more than 3)

The brazen morning fox, trotting along the pavement as I walked to work

The new series of Grace and Frankie on Netflix. I’ve been waiting for a long time for this!

Delicious salmon katsu curry accidentally followed by a delicious crêpe

Packaging up leaflets into envelopes. A nice mindless task for a Monday.

Lots of people saying yes to donating stuff for the Period Party.

The big fox lying like a dog on the field by my house as I walked back from the date.

Getting excited about the book with Liv.

Telling her the fox story and seeing her laugh.

Going for a little walk at lunchtime and spotting the squirrel on the tree, looking at me. (Not this squirrel but this is also very joyful).

Watching two foxes play fight and hang out near my house. They seemed so unbothered. And much bigger than normal city foxes.

Being more me and funny in the meeting with all the boring men.

New book idea stuff. Talking to Liv and getting the blessing from Naomi.

A walk that took in the coast, a cliff and some of the South Downs Way. Ending in a cafe with a cream tea.

Lounging in the sun with Sophie.

Spotting wild rabbits, a fox and heaps of pigs.

Walking round Wilkinson’s, getting excited by glittery toilet seats, fake stone foxes and soft towels.

Chucking away a carful of stuff.

Spending the evening in the hot tub, with wine and then sitting by the fire. On my own and loving it.

A night of knitting, pizza, mulled wine and Christmas songs. Starting with this beautiful pike of unraveled wool.

The fox sauntering down the road after work.

Feeling happy. Really genuinely happy. Like the old me happy.

The Wall of Vulvas. From the Vagina Dispatches.

And acing their vagina quiz.

Leaving presents. I didn’t expect it. And I’ll always love an enamel mug with a fox on it.

Watching the fox that likes to hang around the building

Going out onto the balcony for a little while as the sun shone

My boyfriend coming home after work when I didn’t think he was going to. Cuddles on the sofa in front of Grand Designs and a very funny New Girl.

A really upbeat jazz song came on as I walked to the tube. Cue me grinning at everyone I walked past

The cute dog on the tube that looked like a fox. Pretty sure it wasn’t a fox though…

Coming home to a postcard from my nan. Always makes my day

A mid afternoon hot chocolate and girly catch up

Spotting a fox on top of a car in the car park. And then watching it leisurely stretch and wander off.

8 out of 10 cats.
