An actual Period Party. With red and pink balloons, fruit and drinks. A pink cake, red flowers and my vulva making.

Giving Jo her advent calendar.

Seeing people look genuinely happy to have my vulva Christmas decorations.

Zoo programme full of cute animals.

‘you could just wank into my mouth Alec’. Wiseman wedding.

Dancing. Sliver of tummy out.

I keep writing turd not turf. And it makes me laugh. A lot.

A woman made a play that mentions me. So I went to go see it. And it was good!

Garlic shots, churrus and drinks with Jana and Charlie.

My brilliant friend, reporting on important and heartbreaking things in big newspapers. Very proud.

Wearing my dungarees again.

Vegan dinner. Rice rice rice.

A lunch with Lou. Chatting bisexuality and mental health. It feels really nice to have made a new friend. And to feel really justified in my feelings about bisexual dating.

Silly cardboard comedy in the basement of a pub.

A second date with James. I think I might quite like him.

The conservatory at the Barbican.

Delicious pasta dinner with Holly.

The photo of my parents looking in love in amongst the plants.

Went to celebrate Rochelle’s first birthday of Luna Spot. She was so happy to see us and her stuff was beautiful. Well worth making the effort to go out into the wind.

A sofa afternoon. Sewing Bee. RuPaul. Watching Jonny play games.

Cutting my hair and having a shower before bed. It’s so relaxing.

Quiet coffee with Becky during work hours

The adorable fluffy dog outside the school. Before the scruffy dog ran away….

A sober date with the hottest man I’ve ever dated.

The sunshine in the morning, looking up at it from my bed.

Coffee and courgette cake with Jo, making light of it.

Going to see her new flat and eating biscuits and tea and beer and watching TV.

The squirrel on the path at lunch time (and then this image)

Seeing Jana when I wanted to go home

Red wine in a not-pub and not-bar

Jo, saying lovely things about me

Getting the good seat at work

The cheap delicious flat white in the collapsible cup

Walking through the park doing the pollution tubes and finding lots of squirrels.

Han’s long eyebrow hair.

Limmy.

A super productive morning. Thanks sunshine and period!

Anal sex and pegging chat with Jo over a hot chocolate.

A film and a beer with Alec. Love that guy.

Another good upcycling workshop. Such fun easy money.

Alec coming along and making a flower. And then going to the pub together and having lots of chat. And celeb spotting.

Heaps and heaps of custard.

Got some stationary sorted today. By which I mean I nicked a few things from the stationery cupboard. I love a sharp pencil.

Lots of moving around today. I felt like I walked up and down the stairs a lot.

Cosy chats with tea and chocolate and Jo after work.

Discovered a local department store. The jeans still weren’t right but I ordered what I need. It felt good to explore a bit, even after being here for two years.

A couple of the pieces at the National Portrait Gallery. The moving portraits by Julian Opie were cool. Physically moving I mean, not emotionally.

Jo came round with my P45 and cuddles after work. Really nice to have a mini catch up for about 45 minutes.

Sewing a vulva

Watching Dawson’s Creek

Having a couple of coffees with Corinne

Feeling stronger and better already. It’s working.

A quick wine and carbs with Jen. That was fun.

Sharing mental health issues with Leila. It was a nice break and it felt good to talk about.

Spending the day with Naomi, chatting about all things feminist, life and work.

The Rachael Whiteread exhibition at Tate Britain. And talking it through with Naomi as we walked round. I never do that.

A few hours with Jonny in the evening but not drinking. Then going to bed at 10.

Going for a walk and picking up a conker. A beautiful, not quite perfect conker.

Watching a toddler playing in a puddle. He was so happy and so engaged.

Holly got me two jobs. In about half an hour. That’s a good friend.

Beers in the park after work with Holly

A Ben and Jerry’s ice cream sandwich

Community. My community.

Lying in the sun in the park, reading my book and getting a tan.

Basement Tapes. Will came. It was fun to see him. And to dance.

Sam. Being wonderful and brotherly and supportive. Hugs and advice.

Even more sunflowers poppingโ€‹ up.

Coffee in the sun with Jo. I needed hugs and sympathy after last night.

Walking around Gillespie Park. The bit I haven’t been to before. Flowers and bees and beautiful things. ๐Ÿ๐ŸŒบ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒท๐ŸŒป

A day off, spent quite quietly again, doing things that needed to get done. Taxes, cleaning, sorting. Sending photographs of my vulva to feminist artists to make body positive artwork. You know, the usual.

Impromptu lunch with Hannah at Abocado. It was nice to have a hug.

A beer and a fire. I always love a fire.

A lie in. After an actual proper night’s sleep.

Corinne coming to stay.

My dad, being cute and a great host. So many drinks offered.

Run run run run

Sitting in the sun at the little Surrey train station, waiting for my train.

Dinner and sofa chats with Jo.

Delicious German Christmas biscuits. I’m embracing it early this year.

Hugging Hannah. I wish she wasn’t leaving.

Bratwurst for dinner. I’ll go back to being vegetarian after I finish the packet.

I did it. I went on my first ever first date. Tick that off the list.

The seagull dinosaur fact. Ridiculous. Possibly true.

The lovely letter from Claire. Such a cutie.

Seeing Jonny. It feels like it’s been ages. I ran up to him I was so excited. We went to our usual Turkish date night restaurant.
A nap in the afternoon. I love ‘working’ from home.
A super generous and totally unexpected donation from a colleague for my midnight Ben Nevis walk.
