Repotting plants.

Discovering the nature garden at the other end of Parkland Walk. It’s so beautiful.

Alec at the LEGGS meeting

The work experience kid didn’t turn up and I got the day to myself again.

Talking to Caroline about the seedlings and the plants.

The swifts are here!

The seedlings have grown enormously. Especially the courgettes.

The busy bird activity outside my window this morning – blackbirds and blue tits all diving into and out of the ivy.

The fox on the path.

Weaving my basket and thinking about my therapy.

The gentle wood smoke smell in my bedroom.

My seeds have started growing at work! The sunflowers and salad leaves. It’s so exciting to see it!

Lying on the soft chairs in the upstairs office reading and watching the birds at lunchtime.

Therapy in person. Epic journey but worth it.

Planting up the herb garden and the seeds.

Elliott curled up into my legs in bed this morning.

Getting into bed before 8pm and it’s still light outside.

Trialling the leaf printing workshop with Stella.

Eating purple sprouting broccoli that I’d picked at work.

A backdated pay rise!

The perfect autumn day – bright blue skies against orange leaves. Cold and beautiful.

Actually doing some work with the volunteers again. It felt good to be active.

Texting Phil. Probably won’t go anywhere but it was a nice easy conversation.

Potted up the spider plant babies.

Sewed a pair of tiny dungarees after work when I really just wanted to lie on the sofa. I’m really glad I did something.

Photos of mum and dad with Fred and baby Alfie. 😍

Sleeping until 7.30.

The morning volunteering session on my own. It’s much calmer without Louisa and Syd.

Telling Sally about the ‘ginormous’ squash.

Sewing again. Four little pairs of dungarees.

Cleaning the stairs, cutting back the hedge and sorting out the recycling bins.

A big creamy daal. With sweetcorn. And two sausages. 🤦‍♀️

A quiet and calm volunteer day in BW. Hardly any sweating, not much chat, no stress.

A new screen on my phone and a new clear cover.

Singing and driving in the van.

The dangling leaves in the overgrown archway.

Some quiet, calm reserves work.

Massaman curry.

Louisa being nice to me.

The comma butterfly.

Doing some reserves work in preparation for the London in Bloom judging tomorrow.

First day on the new job and I got to trim hedges in the sunshine and sit outside listening to the birds at lunchtime.

Meeting Misty, the teeny tiny 9 week old puppy.

Vegan duck pancakes and a night in on my own.

Watching Alec duck out from behind a car after dropping off my secret Santa present this morning. So adorable and so funny.

Defrosted the freezer and got rid of the dead plants. Finally.

A birthday card from my brother.

Spotting the butterfly on the beer can. And going back to photograph it.

Having lunch at a cafe. A bloody massive salad from the cute guy.

My first tomatoes are ready.

Planting trees in the local park. I planted oak trees and dogwood and they will be there for hundreds of years after I’m gone. I feel so wholesome and lovely.

Bread, butter, pesto.

Delicious Turkish with Rosie. Including feta ice cream.

Looking at my nine growing tomatoes. And telling the Remainers about them.
My big pile of sewn vulvas. I’m getting there.
Mum sending me a photo of vegan coffee cakes. I feel a bit bad about not wanting to go this weekend after that. She loves seeing us and she loves feeding her family.

Hooooome. No more hen party.

Lying in the park, texting James.

Hearing that 100 Vaginas made the young women feel much happier with their vulvas. 😍

Also my plant has the beginnings of tomatoes and I went out for lunch on my own again. Hello vegan food and silence.

New plants and repotting my ever growing tomato plant. The flowers are starting to come out.

Pedal Power. Such an amazing project, bringing joy to so many people.

Kathy Burke. “Steam yer fanny? Fuck off.”

Possibly the beginnings of tomatoes on my plant.

Going back and paying for the sandwich.

Doing a long yoga video as the wind rustles the tree outside and blows fresh air through the window.

Opening my blind to find a fox in the garden.

My flowers are growing.

Deciding to go swimming. And deciding to be happy at the same time.

Buying a beautiful swishy skirt.

One on one with Matt. And watching Planet Earth together. Cute polar bear cubs and baboons that don’t like the water.

(Today started off as quite a bad day. So I’m enjoying that the second half had lots more smiles in it. So there are more than 3)

My new plants. Especially this little pink one.

Aaaand the bit silver one outside the kitchen window. It makes me smile whenever I go in there.

Dinner with Jana. Where I left feeling happy and not at all like I needed to compare my life to hers. Also the working truffle pigs. 😂

Waking up to cuddles

Some sneaky Subway hash browns

New colourful plants to put in the window planter

I’m going to be in a documentary. And I helped them find the perfect old woman for it too.

Walking through the park after doing my tubes. It would have been lovely to stay there for a while. And I like the old gardeners in the mini park next to the park too.

California by Grimes.

Gardening. A day in the sun. Relaxing. I’m glad I took today off too.

The smell of shaving foam.

Our new compact Hoover.

Going to Walthamstow. And liking Walthamstow.

Gardening. Really nice to get my fingers in the dirt again.

RuPaul’s All Stars series 2. Yas queen.

The bubbles from the washing up bottle.

Doing some gardening in the warm morning.

Grants Museum of Zoology. Lots of jars of dead things and bones. Not my usual bag but it was fun. Especially this little blown up fish fella.

(Not drinking at either of the two parties which made things a little better. Or at least not as terrible as I thought they would be)

New brunch place. Delicious and cheap Turkish breakfast.

Gardening. Cut the grass, did some weeding, moved a few plants around. I like that the garden is my little area. I feel proud of it.

Seeing Crispin and dancing to Hot Dub Time Machine. I especially loved the glitter canons, balloons and confetti!

I grew these! And I ate them for dinner.

I made a dress.

An evening with Bivan, playing guitar and singing, watching Back.
