Highgate woods.

Carrot cake and a coffee.

Bake Off.

Making a wordsearch for work. Which obviously means I needed to try it out too.

Octopus cut aubergine with peanut sauce.

Watching Bake Off and texting Tash.

Saw Jen for an impromptu lunch. Not at all vegan but very delicious.

Sewing vulvas and listening to funny podcasts.

GBBO lols from Twitter

I’m an auntie! Freddie is here. He’s massive. They are all happy and healthy.

Hearing about how great Ben was throughout it all. As I knew he would. And also chatting to him more.

I really enjoyed Bake Off this week. And it was fun to watch with Jonny.

New job. Team of women. Kind of exciting.

Cutting Andrea’s hair. It feels great to just snip away at someone’s hair!

Liam winning Star Baker.

Being out and about and not in the office.

Fair trade cotton and paper earbuds from Co Op. Ah, I’ve missed you.

House Bake Off watching. Matt’s, not quite viral, tweet.

Bright autumn leaves on the walk home.

Being good at interviewing. I like being on this side of the table.

A big veggie stew on a baked potato with Bivan for dinner. Plus some wine. In front of Bake Off.

And the smell of lavender in the fresh evening air.

A sad day but reminiscing about funny Nan stories.

No Such Thing As A Fish on the train home. It was just such a funny episode. Shoelaces, brown diamonds and international listeners.

Watching Bake Off in the lounge with Bivan. Rather than sitting alone in my room all night. That was a blessing in disguise.

My sunflower has finally flowered. And my housemate sent a photo of it congratulating me, which cheered me up after I felt annoyed at him for being messy this morning.

Gym. Rowing. Cycling. Just doing it.

Bake Off on the big TV, not my iPad. Followed by a chat with Lauren. I forget how much 10 minutes of socialising can make you feel.

Brilliant Christmas Bake Off Good Eggs chats again. Bonas.

Walks with dad and finding the solar panels at the end of the village.

Driving around all the roads of my childhood as the sun set, singing loudly.

Pretty Dorking and autumn trees.

Selasi’s ‘since the end of Bake Off’ story. He’s feeling pretty relaxed about it.

Some home yoga after work to relax.

Getting the spreadsheets. After freaking out about them.

Being in a nice cafe. Middle class calm.

Cheese on toast and Bake Off in bed. A happy place.

Going to the Tate. Watching the construction guys descend from the roof. The beautiful new galleries. Stepping into the cubes. Being alone in the room with the lights. Writing with a coffee. The views from the top floor. The wonky sculptures. The bubbling tubes. Lying in the cage. The beautiful concrete staircases.

Drawing birds and listening to guilty feminists.

Jonny, beers in the pub, a brilliant tart, jam tarts that burnt our mouths, cigarettes, GBBO in bed and gay chat. A brilliant Wednesday night.

An accidental loud fart. And then another one.

GBBO at Godfrey. Come on Val, pull it together!

James. Offering me money. So lovely.

Bake Off!

Actually managed to cook a nice dinner for someone with minimal freak outs.

SnapChat filters. I got the giggles

Cock Lane. Yeah, I laughed at it.
Walking home.

The work BBQ. Surprisingly good.

Bake Off. Always.

Being better at my French app with my husky, coughy voice.
The surprisingly delicious quesadilla for lunch from the guy with amazing two tone facial hair.
Nadiya being Star Baker this week. I love her.

Jonny’s new glasses. And the fabulous poses they make him do.
