An immediate haircut

A nap on the sofa

Summer evenings, early nights and good books

Lovely leaves.

First haircut without the mole. So much less stressful.

Jonny’s home! And he likes his spicy cheese.

Went to celebrate Rochelle’s first birthday of Luna Spot. She was so happy to see us and her stuff was beautiful. Well worth making the effort to go out into the wind.

A sofa afternoon. Sewing Bee. RuPaul. Watching Jonny play games.

Cutting my hair and having a shower before bed. It’s so relaxing.

A nice message

A lie in

A hair cut

Volunteering in the morning, packing up Christmas hampers for lonely old people in the borough.

Bought our teeny tiny Christmas tree. She’s adorable.

Having a dog friend whilst getting my hair cut.

Two walks in the park, amongst the autumn leaves

Seeing my plastic free menstrual product sticker up on the toilet doors. I love seeing them.

The hairdresser’s. The ASMR of the scissors, the woman next to me who told me how much she loved my haircut and wants the same, having an hour where I just sat. No book, no phone, no screen. Just sitting.

AND finding my new favourite tea in the Japanese shop near my house.

Mint chocolate bar. So delish.

Park lunch. And it’s officially autumn.

Closing my eyes during my haircut and focusing on the nice feelings and sounds. Real life ASMR.

Delicious almond croissant courtesy of Adam for elevensies.

A quiet haircut reading my book where the hairdresser did not make my mole hurt or bleed. And for only £25!

A delicious pizza.

Haircut. Short and sharp again. Plus it smells amazing.

I spent almost an hour in the gym. And it totally didn’t even feel like it. A good start to the morning.

I felt like I achieved quite a lot today. Which is a nice feeling. And one I haven’t felt in a while.

The clitoris animation.

Walking and talking to mum on my way to my haircut. I was in a really good mood.

Getting a different hairdresser. He didn’t miss bits like Maria does.

Free haircut. With the possibility of more free haircuts.

That stupid photo of Alec being excited by his present. It made me lol twice on the walk to the pub.

Alec’s birthday drinks. I chatted to lots of people which I don’t normally do, there was a dog and I got three hugs! Plus I walked there through sunny sunny London.

I got my hair cut. FINALLY. And Maria was funny, if a little lax in some respects. I left hairy but beautiful.

Spending time with Jo. It was really lovely to chat to her.

Singing ‘Nothing compares to you’ with Jo and Hannah.

Going lambing! I was so excited. And by far the oldest child with their parents on the farm.

The smell of my haircut.

Wine, wine, olives, wine, kissing.

My strangely patterned avocados.

A quiet haircut, whilst it rained outside.

Discovering Bridget Jones’s Diary in the house. I’ve been wanting to watch this for weeks! Enjoyed with two slices of warm banana bread, smothered in Malteaser spread. Happy Sunday!

Signed up to Bumble. And got some matches. Bit of excitement!
Chatting to Jo on the phone for an hour. We never do that.
A day out of the office – spent it in a cafe with Corinne, getting a haircut and spotting John Hannah!

All FOUR of the homemade cakes for Clare’s birthday.
A beer and a haircut.
Feeling quite proud of myself. For sharing. And doing better.

Chatting to the homeless man I used to walk past everyday. He remembered me and even asked about my new job.
A head massage, a glass of wine and a haircut.
Dinner with Becky’s posh friend.

A hot chocolate, a book and some quiet at the Happy Cafe.
My hairdresser styled my hair completely differently. It looked hilariously 80’s during and then actually really cool at the end. I spent the rest of the day looking in the mirror.
Watching Jonny play Assassin’s Creed.

My new haircut. And style. That made me laugh all the way to the station.
The head massage
Hot cross bun and a coffee I made myself for a mid morning snack. Whilst listening to 6music play Bowie tributes.

Driving the big van at work.
A head massage and a good haircut.
Being back in Hannah’s bed with her comfy pillows.

A day getting to know the Italians.
Married at First Sight. So awkward. So good.
A proper haircut.

PUPPY!
I shaved his head.
Going for an impromptu coffee on the way back from shopping.

My friend’s boyfriends accidental haircut. A day before his big job interview.
Delicious lunch at the most pretentious place ever.
90 empty matchboxes and a picked shark.

A shell competition in a small beach in a little cove with my family.
The beautiful grasses.
Getting W to cut my hair out on the balcony. It looks good!

image

Spying Mt Taranaki out the plane window.
Getting home after a week away.
A haircut. A joint haircut in fact.

image

Haircut. At a fraction of the usual price.
The Welsh landlord from the Welsh pub recognised me on the street and said hello. I’ve only been into the pub three times.
I bought even more fabric. Whoops. And then spent the afternoon sewing. I made another T-shirt and turned a big top into a vest.

Someone telling me they liked my dress
Catching sight of my new haircut in the mirror and thinking ‘yeah, I like that’
