Sneakers ice cream.

Dinner with Jonny, discussing Issues. And work things. We never eat dinner at the same time.

Grand Designs. A giant treehouse. So beautiful. And I love our evenings in together.

Opening my blind to find a fox in the garden.

My flowers are growing.

Deciding to go swimming. And deciding to be happy at the same time.

Buying a beautiful swishy skirt.

One on one with Matt. And watching Planet Earth together. Cute polar bear cubs and baboons that don’t like the water.

(Today started off as quite a bad day. So I’m enjoying that the second half had lots more smiles in it. So there are more than 3)

Putting up my exhibition of clean air posters made by kids. It looks so sweet! I’m really happy with it.

Itsu lunch. Because this week needs it.

Just being with Jonny in the flat, making silly jokes, sharing chocolate, watching him play Assassin’s Creed. We’ve definitely settled in now.

(Plus the beautiful vulva pin and being a photo of Han looking all pregnant and lovely)

Japan flights are booked!

A couple of posters for the competition. Thank god.

New pub with Jonny. I’m glad we go out still. And play dominoes

Shopping during work hours. Stripes for days.

Ivan’s chocolate biscuits.

Sewing the fire mitt for mum and dad.

Being out and about in the world, having a job for a day.

Having dinner with Rosie. Talking about depression and anxiety and jobs and just having a nice evening.

Coming home to a few minutes of pencil dick chat with Lauren and Becky. I love Lauren.

I got invited to join a vagina coalition!

The social faux pas tweets. I read them twice and couldn’t stop laughing.

Watching TV with Matt. A really nice evening, giggling, sharing crisps and deserts.

Sausage and jazz. Classic mix.

Part two of the campaigning course. Hearing Nimco Ali speak. She’s so brilliant. And having the possibility of teaming up with some other brilliant women. Very exciting!

Me: oh, someone’s due a smear

Ivan: guilty

The anti hen party chat from Jana and Hol. Glad to see we’re all on the same page!

Matt inviting me down to watch Africa.

And then actually watching Africa. I like watching Attenborough shows with Matt. We do good commentary.

Got heaps of work done today. Really easily too. Just smashed it out.

And evening of drawing.

And then laughter with Lauren in the kitchen.

Oh and the squirrel up above me, almost within arm’s reach at the park on the way home.

Being all together as a family, having lunch in the garden for the last time.

Watching Ben laugh so hard retelling the new Dad’s Army film that he cried.

Coming back to Lauren. And my garden smells. Someone who can commiserate with me and a nice place to sit before the week starts again.

The Nova Joy plant has flowered! New beautiful joy here we come!

Sitting in the garden, picking weeds with Lauren.

Then chatting to her for quite a while. Looking up Russian dating sites, talking about garden plans (mostly solar powered fairy lights). It was exactly what I needed.

Corbyn accidentally boob high fiving and being ‘serenaded’ as he left the house this morning. Ooooh Jeremy Coooorbyn!

Emily telling me how much she appreciated me when she was dealing with stuff with her mum. It was really touching. Unfortunately I was a bit too drunk for the moment.

Being saved by having a beer with Mike, on the floor of his room as he smoked out the window. It felt like being a student again. And no tears.

Going to the White Cube. That place is so damn shiny and reflective. I love it. Also the room with all the semi reflective glass rooms – so good!

Going for a walk through the little park and sitting by the pond for a while, watching the slow tadpole prosession. I felt like I couldn’t get enough of smells of the plants into my lungs. And there was a nice man who stopped too see if I was okay.

Coming back and doing some gardening. To think I almost stayed in bed. It turned out to be a really lovely afternoon.

Oh and then Matt and I watched a brilliant volcano documentary with a hilarious voiceover. Plus ice cream.

New series of Master of None.

Lauren making me laugh and making me feel less of a moany twat.

Five minutes of texting Jonny. Five minutes of feeling loved and liked and funny. He’s my rock and my happy place. Some days I need him more than others. Today was one of those days.

Boobs song from Jen. “My vagina… Which is somewhere on my stomach”

Getting the report done. Almost there.

A night with Matt, watching pottery and doing online dating on the sofa.

The best new sponge at work.

To vagina bowl or not to vagina bowl. Apparently cannot vagina bowl in front of Janice.

Funny video from Mike.

A pretty successful OKCupid conversation.

Working from home so I could be snotty by myself. And then getting to hang out with Becky for milkshake breaks and home made ginger and lemon tea.

Quiz night with Jonny. It’s the last time I’m going to see him for a month or so which is definitely not something to smile about. But it was a fun night. Never been upstairs in the Island Queen before.

The puppy in the street that was excited to see me.

A delicious naan from the naan shop plus some Waitrose daal and a nice, normal chat with Matt.

An email from Jonny, being grateful for the packing list. Babe.

South African and Russian accents.

I’m fish fingering myself.

NO.

Playing piano tiles with Ismay. Too exciting.

Becky is home!

Sharing a cup of decaf around before bed, like it was something illicit.

My housemate bought me Nutella. I LOVE Nutella.
Showing Miranda our van. It’s nice to see it through someone else’s eyes.
The smell of sun tan lotion, the heat, the sandals. Summer.

Sitting in our van after work, reading in the sun.
My drunk housemate accidentally farting. Tried so hard to not laugh out loud and embarrass him.
Then laughing about it with him later on.

‘Apple and…sum…ahh…fruits’
Our ridiculous (in a good way) housemate dressing up for the trick or treating kids. She’s even in a different outfit than the one she’s wearing to the Halloween party tomorrow.
Coming home to find my brilliant and very tired boyfriend working hard on the campervan and wearing pink marigolds. What a superstar.

A ‘no’ vote for Scottish independence! I’m so relieved.
A chicken and garlic bread dinner, reminding me of Thursday night dinners at home.
Spying on the guy our flatmate has been seeing as he tried to work out which house was ours.
