Coming back into work to a card from Chris and Beth congratulating me on getting my job.

Getting Employee of the Year!

Being part of the managers meeting and hearing about all the things that are going on.

I cut out my trousers AND did yoga!

The Female Invest webinar. I really really am going to start investing. Soon. After pay day.

Talking to Sally about my job and how it seems a bit more likely that I might get to keep it…maybe.

Got my booster jab! Bonded with the jabber.

Finally felt slightly more normal.

Chatting to Sally and knowing that I’ll have my job until October at least.

Spending my first day at the ecology center and getting on well with Sally.

When it hailed so hard that the hail lay.

The squirrels that came right up to us, wanting food.

Got offered the job!

Went for a walk along the parkland walk for the first time in a while.

The clouds. I’m not sure why but they just really attracted me this evening.

A nature job I can apply for!

Eating all the fruit and veg.

Rice and sticky aubergine.

I don’t have cancer! And I do have a photo of my cervix!

Possesing the Secret of Joy by Alice Walker. A great ending. A brilliant book. It made me squirm and cry and feel heartbreak for women around the world. But god it was good.

The two kids who thought that working at the council was cool. Especially having a chair with wheels that spins round. Which is pretty cool to be fair.

Watching the sunbathing blackbird at lunchtime. And discovering that that is what she was doing.

Good Eggs stupid photos. Mainly of Alec. Really made me laugh.

Finishing the day with a phone call from Eric, who wants to help me get more street art in the borough. I like it when people want to help you.

More posters! Thank god! The competition wasn’t a total bust!

And the judging went really well!

Smiling as I walked out the office. So many things went well today, I’m feeling so much happier!

Being out and about in the world, having a job for a day.

Having dinner with Rosie. Talking about depression and anxiety and jobs and just having a nice evening.

Coming home to a few minutes of pencil dick chat with Lauren and Becky. I love Lauren.

Went for a little walk after Stuart left. Saw a cute squirrel.

Stuart came back over with wine in the evening to celebrate/commiserate me getting a job that I don’t want. He’s so cute. It’s so nice to see him twice in one day.

Then Jen came round! She finally saw my house and met Stuart. It was a fun little evening with Christmas songs and wine and snacks and silly conversations.

Today was a day of so many smiles.

Remembering last night and the girlfriend chat.

Getting an interview for a job I really want.

Being asked to write a blog for a feminist site and being approached by an award winning feminist podcast to talk about my vulva t-shirts.

Going to a Christmas party where I talked about vaginas and air pollution.

Having Stuart meet my friends and then stay at my house, where he said really sweet stuff to me. I like this guy.

I got a day’s work tomorrow! So glad I asked.

Set up a vagina tshirt shop. Got five orders already. Check it out.

Prahmas. All the food, all the present and, randomly, all the singing.

Sticking it out and meeting Kieran to hear about the waste management work. Not what I want, but interesting. And a good chance to feel like I’m good at something.

Lino printing vagina Christmas cards.

A classic date night with Jonny. Too much alcohol, some penis chat and Peteks. Perfect.

Meditating to the sound of the birds outside my window

Finding a job I want to apply for. And it pays super well too! Accidentally already mentally spent the first month’s salary.

Ironing. It’s so relaxing. Such smooth sheets.

I smelt that M&S Christmas potpourri smell. God I love that smell.

Walking to and from work with a big smile on my face because it’s just such a lovely job.

Jonny’s vulva. And an evening of genitalia lino printing.

First day at my new freelancing job. Making time capsules with recycling materials. FUN! Basically being paid to chat to kids, cut up paper and occasionally pick up bits of cardboard.

Probably got paid more today than I’ve ever been paid in one day before.

Jonny’s giant sharpie penis.

Such a smiley day.

Seeing my Instagram again this morning and all the positive comments.

Holding a really good group interview. Lots of laughter.

Finding out about my job. Finally.

Having 11 days of holiday to take. In April. HELLO HOLIDAYS.

Seeing the space for the period party. It’s going to happen!

….And the guy came up with cunting – vagina bunting!

Spending the evening texting J. And showing him my pathetic food situation. Followed by burnt toast. 😞

Body of Women. I’m so excited to be talking about it again.

It seems fairly likely that my job will extend.

Bed time yoga and a foot massage.

Drinks with Ivan and Mike.
Watching the colours change on the big swing pagoda at Kings Cross.

Week One done. Four interviews, one journey outside of London and loads of printing. Its been a good start.

Walking from work to Bloomsbury, realising that I really like my new job. I like working on a topic that I really like.

Drinking red wine in a beautiful building, listening to women talking about feminism and books that shaped them. Happy Day of the Girl.

Delicious £3 veggie curry for lunch.

First day at work. Smashed it.

Pub with Ciaran and Alec. The dream team.

Doug sent me a vagina graffiti for my Instagram.

Two hot tub dips

A new job? Maybe.
But also being told that I stood out as a brilliant, clever and quick thinking person in the interview for my current job. It was nice to hear that.

I think my job is going to be good.
The new shower. A standing up shower. Always a treat.
Nuts and raisins. Such a good combination.

Feeling excited about this job.
Loud music. In the morning and the evening.

He might have got the job he really wants!
Some time to sit down and chat to Gavin and Ryan before any customers turned up.
A little bit of retail therapy.
