The big courgette from the Spanish woman.

Doing crafts with kids and making butterflies on sticks.

Coming home rather than going on a date. Watching tiktoks in my pants and washing my dresses.

The moon is slow low and bright and beautiful.

I roasted pears. They were delicious.

Seeing Riccardo in the park and giving him a little wave.

The kid that was telling his mate that his has a secret weapon….it’s the song he’s singing. He then sang Eye of the Tiger very loudly.

Yesterday I gave the kids across the street a bag of my old scraps of material. Today they sent me photos of the things they’ve made, including an old dress remade into a new dress for one of the little ones.

Working with Gerry. He’s funny. And sweet too.

Finishing two more pairs of dungaeees after work.

I don’t have cancer! And I do have a photo of my cervix!

Possesing the Secret of Joy by Alice Walker. A great ending. A brilliant book. It made me squirm and cry and feel heartbreak for women around the world. But god it was good.

The two kids who thought that working at the council was cool. Especially having a chair with wheels that spins round. Which is pretty cool to be fair.

Starting off the day with a Queen Bee coffee.

Running around the forest with the kids, climbing on everything and being in the trees.

Going on the mini train.

A beautiful walk in the park with the kids. And playing in the park, swinging in the storm swing.

Painting the fence with my brother. Having all the conversations and talking about all the things. It was perfect.

Then watching Moana and drinking beer with him.

Seeing carefree kids run around dancing and playing.
The amazing Wellington fireworks show.
The crowds and crowds of people all going to see the fireworks. It was really fun to be part of the excitement.
