Dinner. Eating all the right things. Come on guts, let’s do this.

Lots of OKC messages. Must be doing something a lot better this time.

Finishing the course and being a trained Mental Health First Aider. That feels good.

My last sachet of Japanese roasted green tea.

Learning new things at work and being excited about new projects.

Model Behaviour. Funny play in a cool theatre.

Wearing eye makeup and feeling pretty.

Went to a machine embroidery class. It was fun! I like doing things.

And it was nice to chat on the phone whilst waiting for my bus after too.

Kicking through the bright yellow leaves on the pavement.

The whole wood working day. The bright blue sky, being outside, the fire, making a bowl, the feminist chat at lunchtime, the end result. It was brilliant.

Smelling like wood smoke

Learning about parliament and the government and finding it so ridiculously interesting.

Rowan’s – Mario Kart and kareoke with my cousin’s friends.

Having my cousin come to stay afterwards. Via cheesy chips. Very drunk cheesy chips.

D
ay one of the Influencing Change course. It was so exciting to feel excited about it all again. And to distill my ideas down into something more focused.

Talking to Joy about the project. And all the other people that came up to me to talk about vaginas. It was a subject that so many people wanted to talk about. It was a real boost.

Beers with Jonny, making me see the good in the day again.

Ovary embroidery workshop! Nice to spend a day with a needle in my hand.

Fresh hot roti at lunch.

Pizza and beer with Jonny. The perfect thing to get me off to sleep early ready for my 4am start tomorrow.

Picked and ate my first home grown tomatoes. 🍅

Left work for a week’s holiday in sunny Spain! Byeeee emails!☀

Signed up for the lingerie making workshop. Can’t wait! 👙

Oh these? No big deal. Just the tomatoes I’m growing in the garden. It’s cool.

First throwing lesson at Clay Time. Fun, handsy and some great that’s what she said’s.

Being at home a bit earlier. Time to clean, to relax, to water the garden. To have a second shower.

Funny animal photos.

Booked another pottery course. This time with Wiseman. Quickest £200 decision I’ve ever made.

A ridiculously drunk first date that we accidentally shared with an old American couple. I barely spoke to the date but what a fun evening!

Only went and booked a pottery course. Again.
Stewed apple. Didn’t go quite to plan but delicious anyway.

Bashed out the to do list after work.

Watching Love
Going to the big Waitrose. Oh I love Waitrose. Especially big ones.

Doing all the things to make me feel better today. Namely:
The cheap and delicious chocolate custard cake.
Sacking off work and just getting lots of life admin shit done – new passport ordered, food bags picked up, books donated, people responded to, face mask…urm…masked.
Then some creative shit. Sketching from the nude photographs I had done and watching a funny video about whittling. Then a smidge of learning some French.

A day in the workshop learning antique furniture finishes. Spraying, painting and waxing. So cool.
Canada Water Street Feast with two babes. God I love Yum Buns.
Seeing that famous guy that I didn’t know.

Being back in the beautiful Hackney office, with a green tunnel and the sound of birds.
Climbing up the treehouse and sitting in the sun at lunchtime.
Becoming a qualified First Aider. Scary but cool.

Perfectly timed photos.
Watching my boyfriend doing the ice bucket challenge for ALS and stumbling over his words – ‘the person who loves the ice the most’.
Doing different things at work because my colleague is away. It’s nice to do new things and learn new skills every now and then.
