Going out in the glorious sun to measure pollution levels in adventure playgrounds. Which obviously included going on a zipwire and climbing up some huge wooden climbing frames.

More park sunbathing at lunchtime. Will this ever not make me happy?

Sacking off my evening plans and coming home to wash and wax and sit in my PJs on my own. Total bliss. Plus a background of Liam Gallagher live.

Another tasty meal from Roger. This time, his notorious breakfast salad.

Cutting things out at work.

Having a night out with Jonny where it felt like it used to. And going to see Sam’s new signed band play. I didn’t like the music but going to a gig was fun and seeing friends was nice.

Working on BOW. Getting the manifesto done and feeling happy with doing something and shaking off the low mood. It’s nice to get compliments about your writing too.

A night with Jonny, eating at Rasa and talking about moving in together. Plus he gave me my birthday present. Hello perfect Muji mugs! 😍

Stuart phoning me during Matilda by Alt-j live in Madrid.

Chats with Kim. Realising we were seeing Andy’s wife play. And that’s why Andy was there. Not a big coincidence, as I thought.

Live music. It’s been a while.

Seeing Liv. Even if I accidentally spent a lot of that time crying.

My homegrown,multicoloured sunny tomatoes

Buying fabric for my dresses.

Live music. It’s nice to hear live music.

Wandering around the Gothic quarter, looking at things and going for tapas somewhere nice.

Grace Kelly. What a performer! Corset, hula hooping and so much dancing. At 69!

Knowing more songs that I realised. Arcade Fire were fun. And then dancing to Skepta with Adrian.

Also the cockroach incident was gross but funny. And Chicken Waffle 😉

Lying in the sun in the park, reading my book and getting a tan.

Basement Tapes. Will came. It was fun to see him. And to dance.

Sam. Being wonderful and brotherly and supportive. Hugs and advice.

Being out in the garden. Putting my sunflowers outside and planting up some runner beans. Hanging my washing on the line.

The drumming at the park.

That smell of summer. Having the windows wide open. Feeling the warmth of the sun. Lying in the park reading my book. It was a good day. It was a calm and peaceful day.

When the sun came out in the garden

Being all together at Ben and Hannah’s

Hearing his band play

Smell of fresh paint. Reminding me of being at home and redecorating with dad.

Dangerous Love. Fuse ODG and Sean Paul. Yas.

Dancing with Rosie to the crazy European live band in Brixton. After Stomping Dave!

The chocolatine aux almondes. Fuck me. That thing was delicious.

Lying in the sun next to the pond for hours and wandering around the Japanese garden.

Walking home from dinner and discovering a little group of people dancing and playing live French music. I stopped and watched for a while, smiling like I haven’t smiled for days. My highlight of the holiday. The perfect last evening in France.
