Mid winter Christmas, take two.
The smell of slightly burning pans which reminded me of camping with my family.

Mid-winter Christmas day at work. Roast Turkey dinner, Santa hats and (fake) presents in the stockings. Saying ‘Merry Christmas!’ to everyone was fun. The festive cheer was there, even if the date was a little wrong.
An evening of Sex and the City.
The little bird that kept flying back into work to hang out with us. He snuck in four times!

Listening to the Backstreet Boys in New World.  They play the oldest music in supermarkets here. So bizarre.
Having Christmas music on all day at work.
Going to see What We Do In The Shadows and then meeting and touching Jermaine!

Putting up Christmas decorations at work for our mid-winter Christmas. Festive songs on loud, mini mince pies still warm from the oven and lots of tinsel. What could be better!
Walking around a beautiful fabric store, stroking all the gorgeous materials and dreaming about what I’m going to make.
Talking about my mum and realising how similar we are and also just how amazing she is.
