A party in a greenhouse after the park has shut. Plants, fairy lights and too much food.

Playing hide and seek.

Driving over the bridge, seeing St Paul’s Cathedral lit up. Still my favourite view in London and always a treat when you accidentally have to get an Uber back from south of the river.

Going for a meeting with coffee, cake, big eyebrows and a walk around a beautiful secret garden.

Walking around in the sun, getting some little life admin things done. It’s nice to have some time off work.

A thunderstorm.

A 50th party in a golf club. Unexpectedly fun.

A walk through the little park, to get out the house.

Flirting with Brian.

The house party! Dancing with Alec. Howling into the wind. The fire. Laughing with Lauren.

Coffee with Jen. She was nice to me and didn’t tell me off.

Going to the WOW campaign workshop. So lovely to meet more fabulous women. And be asked for help on a project by someone who was facilitating it! Such a buzz.

Lottie’s party. Alec’s stories, seeing Ciaran, drunk Jonny, inflexible Doug and hanging out with Will. It was a really fun night!

Gindependance day party!

Minimalist beer.

Being told I’m radiant. By two super lovely and super hot women.

Realising I had a whole heap of reasons to be happy today. Feeling really calm and happy. No housemates, no real day plans, being organised and peaceful. Getting my fingers in the dirt again.

Going to visit Holly and Al’s new flat. It’s beautiful. And Al telling funny, long stories about making the perfect coffee.

Alec and Ciaran at Doug’s party. Those two make me laugh heaps. HEAPS.

Spotting deer out the window of the train.
Banging pots at midnight with confetti canons.

Singing, dancing and having an actual good New Years. Until 4am. Happy New Year!

Seeing a cute cocker spaniel that reminded me of Dingo.
Getting life shit done. Unblocking drains, buying secret Santa presents and white tops and making a very neat To Do list.

The Thanksgiving party, complete with anti-Trump decorations and all the food you could ever wish for. Oh and Rock Band.

Getting all the writing done. Very productive day.

Being invited to a party by the man next door.

Pineapple.

Getting a Thank You letter and a tea bag from the Alzheimer’s Society for helping raising £109,000 by doing the Ben Nevis Midnight Challenge.

Baking some gold glittery cakes for Ming’s Gold Party. Not quite as gold as I wanted but it was nice to bake again.

Chatting to my friend’s at the party. I haven’t spoken to Al properly in a long time, Harry was really interesting and it’s always so nice to see Sam DJ so intently.

Swimming through the sunlight.
A quiet morning to myself. Breakfast in the garden, a little nap and an orgasm by a sunny window.

Getting to hug the cute puppy that came into work the other day. He even licked my nose!
A birthday pot luck dinner party for a friend. Good food and lots of giggles.
Cleaning the baking trays at work. They went from burnt on and brown to shiny and silver. Very satisfying.

Going to an archery session.
Skyping into a surprise birthday party for a friend back home.
A flat dinner. Two chickens, loads of roast potatoes and lots of giggles about foreskins.

New job. First day. Champagne and a party in the new office.

My new boss (and good friend) is going to give money to the orphanage I worked at in Ghana to make sure Richard has a carer every month. So amazing. And completely blown away.

Kim complaining that thin chips were worse than chunky chips because they’re more work. To much lifting involved.

Eating Skips for the first time in ages.

The party. The gin, the talking, the friends and singing Pulp really loudly.

Getting a Kinder Beuno for the bargain price of 50p.

The gorgeous red, orange, gold and yellow plant growing over the fence.

Discovering a new local cafe with delicious poached eggs and hot chocolate.

The party. The dancing, the chatting, the drinking, the hugs, the laughing.
