Discovering the secret garden behind the secret garden at work.

And watching the fox wander around it, completely unbothered by us.

Lying on our tummies looking in the long at moth larvae.

Pond work with the volunteers. It was actually fairly peaceful and I really enjoyed chatting with Gary, Chris, Ben and Sarah.

A long armed stapler.

First date with Joe. Lots of laughs.

Thinking I was about to go in the pond!

Finding lots of little creatures like water scorpions, baby newts and dragonfly eggs. Which are SQUARE.

Turkish bread from Sally. With hummus and olives and avocado.

A free little tomato plant from our neighbour.

Autumn leaves. So bright and colourful.

Walking through the park on the way home. Smelling the nature smells, looking into the pond and feeling quiet.

Sewing vulvas, on the floor of my living room, listening to podcasts.

Walking to the pond in the sun. The butterfly that almost brushed my face. The almost fearless squirrels playing in the secret part of the park that I hadn’t discovered before.
Sewing a dress. Sort of no mistakes.

Turkish and two walks in the park with Jonny. A minthy drink and a hunt for an ice cream in the Tesco’s I’ve not been in before.

Plus some chats with Lauren in the living room and seeing the solar fairy lights all lit up in the garden.

Going to the White Cube. That place is so damn shiny and reflective. I love it. Also the room with all the semi reflective glass rooms – so good!

Going for a walk through the little park and sitting by the pond for a while, watching the slow tadpole prosession. I felt like I couldn’t get enough of smells of the plants into my lungs. And there was a nice man who stopped too see if I was okay.

Coming back and doing some gardening. To think I almost stayed in bed. It turned out to be a really lovely afternoon.

Oh and then Matt and I watched a brilliant volcano documentary with a hilarious voiceover. Plus ice cream.
