Sewing mum’s dungarees. As a distraction but also I’m so happy she wants a pair!

Sunbathing in the park. Not technically allowed yet but reading in the sun for an hour was bliss.

Crafting with Sarah over the internet. I did some embroidery and watched her crochet. It was nice to not have to stare at each others faces the whole time.

Yesterday I gave the kids across the street a bag of my old scraps of material. Today they sent me photos of the things they’ve made, including an old dress remade into a new dress for one of the little ones.

Working with Gerry. He’s funny. And sweet too.

Changing my bed and tidying my room. It made me feel a lot calmer.

Realising I had the energy so I edited my dungarees for hopefully the last time.

I did a beautiful screen print.

I had a really funny evening celebrating my birthday at Bonningtons with the London Eggs.

Making my dungarees. I feel so so proud of myself and I just love that feeling of wearing something out the front door that literally didn’t exist that morning.

Roast parsnips, again. Can’t stop, won’t stop.

Tidying and organising. Finally got a spice rack (of sorts), my cupboard looks so neat and tidy and I have things in neat boxes everywhere you look.

Packing my bag for tomorrow’s run (slow jog) to work. I’m really quite excited!

Deciding to cancel the social plans for today and stay in to do the above.

(This is lots more than three but I was happy a lot today and I want to celebrate that)

The sky today was beautiful. During the day, with the fluttered clouds and as the sun was setting, making everything glow golden.

Delicious vegan food with Sarah. I love mint dressing on a salad.

Roast parsnips, because I was craving them.

Also, more flowers, this time from Rosie. Starting my dungarees and a quick sober drink with Jo where I decided to run to work on Monday.

Putting a little period product box in the loos at work, with single pads from Bloody Good Period.

My favourite curry of the moment. Squash, kale and jackfruit.

I felt more positive when I woke up. It felt good to finish the sewing and tidy the house, listening to BBC 6 and the obscure Christmas songs. Including the bird related ones.
