Going for a walk around the park in the sun at lunchtime.

Spending a lot of the day chatting to Adam and Libby. No managers, no ‘adults’.

Coming home and sewing. Finally. I’ve been wanting to do it for days.

Waiting for the bus in the brilliant sunshine. So lovely after weeks of grey.

Pressing the final curtain lining. Thank god! Now I can start sewing.

Voice messages from the Good Eggs. Especially Alec singing chinbone.

The beautiful sky on the walk to work this morning.

New Muji stationery. Whoops. Couldn’t help myself.

Pressing the curtains seams in the living room and hanging out with housemates.

Wearing eye makeup and feeling pretty.

Went to a machine embroidery class. It was fun! I like doing things.

And it was nice to chat on the phone whilst waiting for my bus after too.

Baked some cakes! To apologise to Stuart for ruining his birthday yesterday. 😬

Teaching Jo how to embroider.

Watching Stuart play Assassin’s Creed after he helped me go through the job description.

A wonderful letter and bad ass card from Han to cheer me up, telling me all the amazing things I’ve done and why she loves me. Plus some great photos of the fun times! She’s so lovely.

Finishing mum’s embroidered Christmas present. Now they both have a top with their boat logo on!

A night out for Stuart’s birthday. We went to Shep’s, ate delicious food, chatted to James, got free cocktails and shots and a discount too! Then some extremely drunk but very good sex when we eventually got home. From what I can remember anyway

A day of embroidery and podcasts by the radiator. I’m so proud of the boat logo on dad’s t-shirt.

Becky’s 30th. Mainly chatting to Robyn about poo stories and her throwing up in her sleeve at a wedding. So funny.

Mum’s videos of the ducks, sliding about all over the ice.

The squirrel outside the gym, pulling chips out the newspaper.

Had a really positive morning. Sent off a job application, had a conference call where I found out we’ll be paid for WOW and then I went to the gym. All before 10am.

Spent the afternoon sewing more vulvas.

Then I met another great feminist at Corinne’s leaving party. It was really fun to talk to her. Whilst texting Stuart about cheese. So much cheese.

Sewing a dress. Sort of no mistakes.

Turkish and two walks in the park with Jonny. A minthy drink and a hunt for an ice cream in the Tesco’s I’ve not been in before.

Gardening together.

Having a window box full of flowers.

It’s been such a peaceful day. Really quite perfect.

Going through some woods… FOR WORK. I touched dogs!

Sewing. I forgot how much I love you.

International Women’s Day. Proud, uplifted and inspired. Every year. Plus my colleague bought in green, purple and white snacks to celebrate. I loved the appropriateness of the jammy dodgers.
