I got the puffer jacket for even cheaper.
A meeting with Mark and Tom. Both of whom I fancy.
My brother, randomly sending a naked photo of himself with a washboard covering his penis. I have no idea why but I laughed a LOT.

Getting lots of shit done today. Lots of shopping for little bits. Itch relief cream, tissue paper, envelopes, elastic, clay. It feels very successful.
Having lunch in a cafe again. And eating a shit ton of veg followed by a great hot chocolate.
The ridiculous Christmas setup I found at one house today. There was even a big manger scene on the side of the house, along with a snowscape in the shed.
Eating my gross looking but delicious, if crumbly, vegan cakes, covered with peanut butter and butter icing that is mainly butter.
Treating myself to some new things. All from Japanese shops. Including lunch.
& Juliet. I CAN’T STOP SMILING.
Sewing the cute little animals on Freddie’s present.
Being ID-ed for buying scissors in Poundland.
Buying lots of craft stuff and knowing that it’s not my money.
Oinks from Han.
Meeting my neighbour on the street as Trump’s helicoptors circled round and round and us both swearing up at them and calling him a prick. Plus this news story.
Bag shopping at Cotswolds.
Dinner with Jen. Laughing so much I leaked period blood everywhere.
Green tea mini kit kat from Japan.
Decathlon. Buying everything. Trying everything on. Big empty shop with no stress.
Evie Oddly’s second face.
Buying a new phone. Just like that.
Pizza and drinks with Rochelle. It’s been about two years but it was fun.
He text me at lunch time. I know I shouldn’t get so excited but I like him.
Not really sure what day it is again. But from the last 24 hours…
Lovely shower
Finally made it to a Uniqlo
More new KitKat flavours
Having a seat between us on the flight. It’s so much nicer when you can lie down
Buying our way into the fancy lounge at Ho Chi Minh. ‘Free’ watermelon for daaaaaays
Basically a whole day with Jonny and it was lovely:
Shopping together.
Changing his pennies into pounds at Metro Bank.
A pub night, trying a new pub and then going to an actual nice pub.
I get to look after Penny, the tiny dog that is more eyes than face, next weekend!
Board games. Winning at board games.
Sitting in the sun in the park again.
Also, shopping quietly and on my way, being nice to myself was lovely too. And I deserve four nice things today.
All the white butterflies that are around right now. They’ve been fluttering past me for weeks and I keep forgetting that they are one of the things that make me smile. But they always do.
Feeling relaxed and horny in the park, sunbathing, with a nipple poking out my bikini to see what’s happening.
A little wander around the SGR shops and getting this new plant. Please don’t let me kill this one.
A bigger Tesco. With so much choice! And so much less busy than Lidl. Dreamy.
Eurovision with Jonny.
Finishing the sewing for mum and dad.
Shopping during work hours. Stripes for days.
Ivan’s chocolate biscuits.
Sewing the fire mitt for mum and dad.
A new water bottle. From a beautiful design shop.
Realising how cool it is that I’ve been asked to be on a panel.
Bright blue skies today.
Carrie Bradshaw’s house (underwhelming), the Friends apartment (also underwhelming), Ground Zero, taking a ferry to Williamsburg, delicious Mexican food, new rings, a carrot cake doughnut (so delicious), the view from the roof and a really great coffee.
Discovered a local department store. The jeans still weren’t right but I ordered what I need. It felt good to explore a bit, even after being here for two years.
A couple of the pieces at the National Portrait Gallery. The moving portraits by Julian Opie were cool. Physically moving I mean, not emotionally.
Jo came round with my P45 and cuddles after work. Really nice to have a mini catch up for about 45 minutes.
My amazing charity shop haul. I got some great clothes for hardly any money at all! New trousers for £2 and a lovely man’s woollen jumper for £2 too. Yes please.
An evening with my boo, Jonny. I haven’t seen him for ages. So we went to Petek. Obvs.
Jen gossip and a Britney-esque photo. What a plum.
Beautiful sunny London. It’s so perfect when it looks like this.
Meeting a woman who organises WOW and pitching two ideas to her. She loved both of them! I’m so proud of us for pitching so well. Fingers crossed we make it into the festival.
Buying a new bag. It was tan. I had to.
And a fourth, dinner at Jo’s with her brother and fiancé. It was really nice. Maybe a friend extension.
James: DONT TOUCH IT
“Who’s Jen flirting with?”
I went for drinks with my colleagues after work. I LAUGHED. I TALKED. I FEEL NORMAL AGAIN. It’s ridiculous how different I feel.
I bought the organic washed cotton duvet from Muji. For Jonny. And for me. I spent all my money in there. I’m so happy. I’ve dreamt of this moment for so long.
A spot of sewing, turning a collared shirt into a more simple neckline.
A wander down Exmouth Market, buying nice wine, handmade leather purses, cute cards and mulled wine for two, for a chat with a friend.
Feeling positive. Feeling good. Feeling like it’s all going to be alright. I like myself. I’m proud of myself. I’m doing good.
