Pink blossom.
Smiling while swimming, remembering Alec’s airport queuing comments
A day at LCR. ‘Meetings’ outside in the sunny garden, Andy and Rochelle and a BBQ.

Swimming through the sunlight.
A quiet morning to myself. Breakfast in the garden, a little nap and an orgasm by a sunny window.
The carpet warming party.

A day with people I like. Away from the estate.
A sunny lunch with Bradnam in the park.
An evening on the Southbank and London nighttime walking.

Breakfast in the garden. Toast, fresh coffee, a magazine and sunshine.
Cutting the grass with the strimmer.
Lee Miller: A Women’s War at the Imperial War Museum. The cycle powered hairdressers made me smile. And the production of Vogue in the 1940’s.  And just what a badass she was.

It felt like it was suddenly light late enough to walk home after work. So I did. And it was lovely.
Flights booked for our holiday to Chamonix. Hurrah!
Drinking a lot of milk. A LOT.

The Riwaka Resurgence, a beautiful spring with clear cold water and set in some stunning scenery. We watched a family jump into the deep Crystal Pool, squeaking at the temperature.
A lunch stop in hippy Takaka. Tons of beautiful food, a coffee and some fresh raspberries.
Leaping around the van trying to squish all the mosquitoes. It took two of us 10 minutes to get them all. It was a massacre.

Doing pore strips with my male housemates. One of them had the most disgusting black bits on his.
Deciding that neither of us wants to get married. Ever. And we’re more than happy as we are.
I wore shorts outside for the first time this Spring. The sky was so blue, the air was warm and my legs were free.

Spring is coming.
A day of giggles and conversations about willies.
Spending the evening with some feminists.

Going for a slow walk in the warm breeze

Doing some yoga again for the first time in ages. A really nice way to make me feel like I’ve stopped working for the day and can think about me and nothing else

Walking in the sun and feeling warm

Watching the giant pillow fight in Trafalgar Square

Trying on the most purple trousers you’ve ever seen, laughing at them with my friend, and then buying them. This may have been a mistake.

The sun came out! Briefly. But I saw it.

A tickle fight on the sofa

My boyfriend brought home a box of Malteasers. They didn’t last long.

It’s spring. Everything is about to get beautiful.

An evening of blueberries, grapes and loads of veg. Oh and cake.

Warming up, walking in the sun

I started feeling a bit sad listening to a slow song on the tube this morning. I skipped on a track and was blasted with Check It Out by Nicki Minaj and will.i.am. Instant smile and the blues were gone.

Looking up at the blue sky and feeling warmer. It feels like spring is coming.

Spending all afternoon at my sewing machine.
