We booked our flights home. Well almost home. To Amsterdam.

A really fun and fast day at work with lots to do and no tired feet.
The F Word. A show at Bats Theatre about sexism that was Ah.Maze.Ing. Funny and clever and just brilliant. I’m still buzzing from it.
Roughly planning our trip around New Zealand in January. It suddenly feels a lot more real and exciting. Plus I’m feeling less worried about the money side of it all.

Going to a huge Mitre10 Mega and buying some black and white vinyl tiles for our van kitchen. After a day of rain when we wanted to be outside cutting and doing, it was a happy moment.
The lovely woman at the Fabric Store who found a new roll of the (super cheap) fabric I was looking for. Thank you lovely lady.
Going to an Asian canteen restaurant and feeling a bit like we were traveling again.

Booking trains and ferries to start our big trip! It’s official. We’ve booked and paid for transport to start us on our overland trip from here to New Zealand. It’s happening!

Speaking to people in the evening about New Zealand and how much they loved it. Which got me really excited again.

My boyfriend managed to change our train seats so we won’t be sat at a table. You have no idea how happy this makes me.

A day spent deciding all the things we need to buy for our big trip. We rarely buy anything so this is so exciting. Especially for me. I actually love buying stuff. I’ve just managed to keep it under control for the last few years. Tomorrow will be even more exciting. We’re going SHOPPING!
