Going for the walk when I wasn’t sure I wanted to but it was lovely. And I saw some golden hour graffiti.

Voice notes from Rosie and Jen and a WhatsApp call with the Fems plus one.

Little Ben is veggie!

A long walk in the woods

Jigsaw puzzling all together. It was so lovely just being together and being silly.

Sacked off veganism for a veggie breakfast. Hello hash browns and veggie sausage.

A lovely sunny walk around the reservoirs. Featuring a moorhen that I thought was a beaver.

My dancing vulva.

Colleague free day. So, home after lunch to masturbate and lie around on the sofa.

Finally got dinner at the Soho Mildred’s. Found out Mildred was a prostitute.

‘Did you just “amirite” me?’ Glyn

A day at home. Meaning I could write my period pub quiz.

A first date with Tom. I like him. I don’t think it’s reciprocated but still, I had a really nice evening and that’s what matters.

That delicious nut roast. I can’t get enough of it.

Mornings on my own in the flat.

Lots of dating activity. Went on one whilst arranging another. And got asked on another (although I feel bad about that one)

Scrambled tofu. First time. Loved it.

Koyasan. Beautiful red temples against an unexpected blue sky. Wandering around in the afternoon was pure joy.

Discovering vegetarian snacks at the 7/11

Our elaborate vegetarian dinner. Numerous bowls of delicious things.

The beautiful onsen. The big wooden bath, the wooden stalls and the bamboo bowls. It’s all lovely.

The sound of frogs and crickets and wildlife in the garden just outside. It feels so lovely and quiet and still up here.

Going to the library for the first time. And coming out with four brilliant books by women.

Doing some more Japlanning. Hello veggie restaurants in Tokyo.

Lying on the floor and reading a book in one sitting. Then another.

Standing on the roof – almost looking at a London skyline. Always feels rebellious being on a roof.

More colleagues bonding. This time in a van.

Mildred’s. Finally. Very yummy.

Having Stuart round, planning our cottage getaway.

I made a ridiculously delicious dinner. I’m so proud of it. Squash, leek and spinach gratin.

Finally getting round to writing the rules for BOW. Felt good to get something achieved.

Walking from work to Bloomsbury, realising that I really like my new job. I like working on a topic that I really like.

Drinking red wine in a beautiful building, listening to women talking about feminism and books that shaped them. Happy Day of the Girl.

Delicious £3 veggie curry for lunch.

Listening to Ben Howard, wearing my purple rain coat I bought in Cornwall and walking along in the slight rain reminded me so strongly of everything about our holiday in Cornwall last summer. Our first real holiday together, my favourite place and the moment we decided to go travelling together for a long time. Who knew walking in the rain would bring back such happy memories

I tried on all my clothes I’m taking travelling when I was supposed to be working. Exciting and much more fun

My boyfriend had a meat free lunch today because its National Vegetarian Week. I’m sure he’s doing it for all his own reasons but I feel a little bit touched, like he’s doing it because he knows it will make me happy. Either way, it’s great.

Lunch at Food For Thought, the delicious vegetarian cafe in Covent Garden. The salad was incredible. I feel like I’ve never had a healthier lunch.

Going shopping for rucksacks and clothes for traveling. Eek!
